Today was my first time coming for an exam and my experience was phenomenal. Everything went great from intake process to the exam. Everyone took their time, were very understanding, and patient. I will definitely recommend.

Bought contacts, never got notified. Went to pick them up and they were returned and they kept my money. They also won’t fix frames, they require you to buy a new 300$ pair of glasses. I’ve been going here since I was a child. Hoping to get this resolved at next appointment.

Dr. Rye is awesome! Very gentle and good bedside manner. He's very thorough. He also knows how to deal with kids on their level so they both understand each other. Office is small but kept very neat & clean. The front office ladies are nice, always smiling. 1 lady is a little rude, she kinda makes you feel like you're bothering but it's mild. I don't ever think I've seen her smile and I've gone here for years now. I especially love the lady from the back office, can't remember her name but she always wears long skirts. She's so sweet and very patient! I would definitely recommend everyone to go see Dr. Rye

The 4 stars is only for the doctor himself. The doctor was awesome. Very thorough and explained a lot to me. However, the checking out process was a hassle. I requested certain "upgrades" that my insurance says it covers, but I was charged for it. My insurance covers the eye exam, itself. But, I was charged for it as well. I was told that my glasses would be in "in about 2 weeks". I am currently at 2 weeks and 2 days and still have heard nothing. I call and nobody answers the phone no matter what time it is. I have left voicemails but they go unanswered. Very frustrating, to say the least.

Alice was amazing! Was able to get me scheduled for an appointment, verified my ins, and in for an exam for my contacts. The office was very clean and has modern equipment which was a plus for me. Very wide selection of glasses including high end brands like, Gucci, and Chrome Hearts. Definitely making this my new optometrist.

I am new to CA , need to see a new Dr. for my contact lens .... first he tried to convince me to buy a frame then extra charges for fitting the contact lens which I really didn't need I have no idea how he got all those good reviews …

Upchurch continues to be my go to for optical. Their selection of frames are top notch as is their service. My son started wearing glasses at the age of 4. Now, 14 years old we still have only had him fitted for frames at Upchurch. We are in and out within 45 minutes, usually less! I highly recommend stopping by, you won't be disappointed. Be sure to browse the shop as you wait!

Jennifer is very hands on owner… “For Your Eyes Only” Best care.. professional, organized, very clean, experienced, gifted, friendly, great at helping you pick out frames & fitting prescription in frame. Dr. Kimble is the Opthamologist on site .. very thorough, my prescriptions are perfect. The whole staff is very customer service focused.. I’m well cared for here💛
