After arriving to appointment at 5:20pm, the receptionist was eager to let me know that she had called 3 times earlier in the day to let me know the doctor left work early and they would need to reschedule. Mind you, this would have made the 3rd time we were rescheduled, and the caller never left a voicemail. I have had continued problems with this location and their customer service has grown horrible. When telling the receptionist that I would be taking my business elsewhere she just smugly smiled and said "ok" multiple times. Do not recommend!

Had a very positive experience with Dr E the optometrist. Had a negative experience in the retail part of the store when I had to return a pair of frames/lenses that were not fitting my face correctly that they had just fulfilled. There were no frames inside the store that would work with my thinner facial structure. My current frames were purchased at a LensCrafters 9 years ago and they were unwilling to locate them or work with me to find something similar that they could bring in that would still give me the 50% discount on the lenses. I don't personally know anyone in SD wrestling with the High cost of living here who can afford over $750 for lenses PLUS frames in this economy. The manager was very unhelpful and said there was nothing he could do unless I want to purchase the frames outside of the store and pay full price for the lenses even though I had previously gotten a 50% discount on the lenses for their pre Black Friday sale. To me there is always a solution to work with a customer especially one who has been loyally going to LensCrafters for over 30 years. I guess you have to ask yourself what is the cost of losing a customer when you tell them there is no solution that will work for them other than to pay $1,000 to get in a pair of glasses. This will be the first time in 30 years that I have broken loyalty with LensCrafters and will be shopping at Wink Optometry going forward after this negative experience. It is hard for me to believe that being forced to purchase their $200 frames in order to get such a significant discount on the lenses is worth losing such a loyal customer over. Especially when my Bvlgari frames that do work for my face have been something LensCrafters carried before and are still available for purchase from third-party outlets. If they are that stuck on me purchasing frames there then bring in the frames that actually fit my face direct from Bvlgari and I will happily purchase them through LensCrafters. I mentioned that to the manager and he said that they would be able to bring in frames that they can purchase directly from Bvlgari. So great, work with me to find a frame that Bvlgari currently carries that will fit my face and bring it in. He mentioned that as an option and then took the option away and said I would have to find an existing frame that they currently offer in their store only. I would be happy to continue to see Dr E for my eye exams because he exhibited phenomenal customer service. The retail side needs better customer service training in my opinion. I also wish they had told me when I was picking out my frames that higher prescriptions do better with smaller frames. Had they done that I never would have ordered my frames in the first place from them since they didn't have any suitable options to begin with in light of that information that they told me after the fact. I hope this review is helpful for others who have high prescriptions.

I can’t thank Dr. Holt & Ashley enough for taking care of my emergency Thanksgiving weekend. As nervous and anxious as I was, Dr. Holt explained things thoroughly to set me at ease. I’m looking forward to better days ahead. I definitely recommend their office and entire staff , they all have great patience and understanding. Thank you again for helping me to get my vision back.

Highly recommend these eye doctors been séing them for 10 years. If it wasn't for these guys I'd be blind!
