The phone rings forever, and on one answers. Or the automated voice comes one, and still no answer. I was once on hold for over 1/2 of an hour. I could not reschedule an appointment because of this. The only reason I am still there, is because I have confidence in my doctor. Horrible!!

Dr. Scott is great. But they overbook appointment slots for him all the time. So be ready to wait for 3hrs. This is so unprofessional I waited 3hrs and I am so frustrated.

I have been here two times to have small embedded particles of metal removed from my eye. Both doctors were personable/professional. On both cases I eventually healed perfectly. They were willing to see me in this 'semi emergency' condition without an appointment the next day (they are not open 24hr contrary to the information above). I arrived before they opened and waited until the late afternoon to be seen. I did this to avoid the high cost of an ER visit.
On my second visit the reception staff were adamant that I required a referral from my insurance or they would not see me. As calmly as I could with a piece of metal in my eye I explained that I believed they were wrong because I did not require one the previous visit for the same thing. They required me to call my insurance asking for a referral, my insurance told me I didn't need one, anything else? No? Click. Now what to do? Eventually I called insurance again and put them on the phone with reception who, clearly annoyed at being proven wrong, made an appointment. After the visit was over I asked to pay, "We don't take money from patients, we bill your insurance". I explained that I have a high deductible plan and will be paying for the full cost myself. "The bill is not ready". I ask about the bill from the previous time which they look up, I ask to pay with a credit card, "our credit card machine is down". The 'payment portal' found on the bill which was mailed to me to pay online did not work both times. If you move/travel a lot and receive mail somewhere other than where you live you may have a hard time paying your bill remotely. I'm not positive that all my bills are even taken care of as no paperwork was given to me post-appointment except for the offices business card.

Let me start by saying, everyone that works there has been very nice. That being said, still the worst experience I’ve ever had trying to get contacts. I made an appointment online for 5pm. Arrived on time and wasn’t seen until 7pm. Was honestly just going to let that go because they did seem incredibly busy and they apologized multiple times. I work in the service industry and sometimes things happen. Fine. But then I get my contact eye exam and am told they placed an order for my trial lenses - in the meantime, they had trials close to my prescription and gave me those to use (again, a plus for them, I really appreciated that as I told them I was out of my contacts). Then it went downhill as it took TWO MONTHS for my trials to come in. Multiple calls from myself to them later, plus promises that they would call back (sometimes they did, sometimes they didn’t), I finally got my trial lenses. Now I’m hesitant to place a full order with them because I can’t wait another two months to receive these, my trials are only meant to last two weeks at a time. I eventually bit the bullet and ordered with them for ease (and because they take my insurance). I’m about a week or two into the waiting period for these contacts (still within reason for a while longer at least) but I am just over this place and would rather pay full price elsewhere to never deal with them again. Never had to wait more than a week for Eye Solutions on 8th Ave to get me my lenses and will just go back there in the future.

terrible service. today my family and I came to our appointment, but we were told that they canceled it because their employee got sick. We have not been informed about this yet. We had to skip our work, which we are very disappointed about. With us was a baby rib and my mother of an elderly tourist.

Dr. Evans is very knowledgeable and an expert in his profession. I have been in his care for over 10 years, and I felt very comfortable. His office staff are very friendly, and they makes the atmosphere feels great and relaxing. I strongly recommend him to anyone seeking eye care.

I was so fortunate that a friend referred me to Dr. Evans when I had an issue with my eye. Not only was he incredibly helpful, pleasant, and thorough, but his entire staff was great to work with and made my feel welcome. I would recommend Dr. Evans to anyone!!!

I know that doctor's offices are supposed to have a wait time, it is like a cliche or something. But when the staff tells you to their face that patients ALWAYS have to wait 2 to 3 hours to see the doctor? They tell you to your face that they over book and that EVERY TIME you come to the office that is going to happen to you.
I don't know about anyone else, but I work. It was a huge waste of time sitting there all day to then get what I consider a rushed appointment. Oh, but I may never get billed for it, wait a minute, so maybe it is a good trade off??
I called to make the appointment, I was not in the system? But I've been there many times previously? Oh, they found me! Wait, what do you mean my insurance is no good? Oh, wait you are looking at someone with a different birth date? And a different name? I thought you found me?
I suppose I should have been nervous, but I guess I am a trusting soul. I actually spoke to Katya who told me it was ok. Until I actually showed up and then they said they couldn't find my chart? It was the IT department's fault. Except they aren't on site and someone lost their phone number? I kid you not....
I am currently downloading a list of other eye doctors that are in network for my insurance. Honestly I am surprised I had patience this long. They are really the most unprofessional office I ever had the displeasure of dealing with

2.5 hours from start to finish. They didn't even look that busy. Stay way. People are not kidding. I went in at 4 pm and walked out at 6:30 PM!
If you like your time wasted, this is the place!
