The optometrists are experienced professionals and front desk ladies are wonderful and accommodating. Prices are reasonable as well.

I was having an issue with my eye that was very concerning to me. Dr. Jhaveri got me in right away and did a thorough evaluation. Dr. Jhaveri and his staff made me feel very welcome even though they were very busy. Everyone was very knowledgeable and professional too.

This was my first time visiting the Southport office and I will never go back. The ladies at the front desk are courteous and nice but the lady who actually checks the fit of the glasses is so rude. I’m finding a new optometrist because of her nasty attitude. This isn’t the first time I’ve encountered her because she works at the Bridgeport office as well. She handed me my glasses and I put them on and said they are a little tight. She proceeds to tell me plastic frames are always like that when I know they are not because I always choose a plastic frame. She didn’t even offer to loosen the screws and now I have to go get them adjusted elsewhere. Then she asks how is the vision aspect and I said I don’t know they are dirty. How am I suppose to tell if I have the correct lenses if all I see are spots. She then tells me with an attitude that she was going to clean them after I try them on.I really don’t know what sense that makes. I will not return to vision center and it really sucks because the doctor is awesome. Meanwhile the white lady before me got great customer service.

Took my neighbor for a emergency visit.Her doctor evaluated her and sent her to the hospital. A busy practice. Everyone was so courteous.

The staff here were wonderful especially Beth! She took really good care of me and was very helpful in finding the right pair of glasses for me. I appreciate the time and care she took even though they were about to close. I never felt rushed and I got what I wanted. I was referred here for a chalazion removal surgery and from the beginning the communication was horrible. They weren't able to get me in for over a month and I had to call multiple times to get scheduled- don't bother leaving a voicemail they never returned any of my calls. At my first appointment they recommended some eye ointment and to come back in 2 weeks for removal if the bump wasn't gone. They also dilated my eyes for no reason (they didn't even wait for the dilation to take effect and the doctor even said we didn't need it) and offered me no sun protection to drive home after. Prior to my next appointment for the surgery, I called 4 times to try to get any information about what to expect for the surgical removal and left three different messages but never heard back until finally the fourth call they were able to find someone to try to answer my questions. Can I drive myself there? Can I continue to breastfeed my baby afterwards or are there medications that aren't good for that? What is the recovery like? Then the night before my procedure I get a voicemail that is confirming my appointment time for a different time than what was scheduled. When I called they said they had to move my appointment up because of some scheduling conflict, but never bothered to tell me that and just left a voicemail with a different time. They offered to reschedule for a few weeks later but with a different doctor. So I had to cancel a different appointment that day in order to make this one, then surprise, it was with a different doctor anyway. After the procedure I was given next to no instructions on aftercare. And, to my surprise, had a horrible black eye for the next two weeks that I was not expecting at all. Also, every time I checked in at the front desk they seemed to have no idea why I was there and twice tried to get me to fill out new client paperwork at recheck appointments and did not correctly check me in so I was waiting 30 minutes until I went up to check and see what was going on and they realized I wasn't checked in. The doctors seem fine and the procedure went fine, but I just can't handle the lack of any communication.

My doctor’s name was Julie. Unfortunately, I forgot her last name. She was very informative, patient and such a great pleasure to have service me. It was her birthday, so everyone should wish her a happy belated birthday. She’s and angel. Made me feel very comfortable at a doctor’s office!

My appointment with Dr Yung was great. He explained everything in full detail he made it very easy to understand. The place is clean and the staff is very friendly and they’re super nice. Definitely recommend this place.
