I’ve gone to various other local places before and even tried Stanton and they’ve always gotten my prescription wrong. I finally discovered this place a year ago and they are spot on every time! Came back to do my annual check up yesterday and just when I thought they could get any better, they’ve exceeded my expectations again. Thank you to the doctor that helped me out yesterday (I’m so sorry I forgot your name). She is by far the most sweetest and really knows her work and has it mastered. If you’re looking for your place, it’s definitely here. Thank you :)

Excellent experience. The doctor was extremely kind, took his time, and explained everything about my eyes in clear detail. He truly listened to my concerns and made me feel comfortable and well cared for. Highly recommended.

This is the spot to buy your new glasses. After my favorite glasses of over 6 years broke, I was afraid I wouldn't find a pair I like as much as my old ones. Lucky for me, the team at Brookside was able to help. They have an excellent selection to choose from, so finding my new favorite glasses was easy. Mary Ellen is THE BEST Optometrist around. Very friendly & professional. She is always so helpful with any issue you have. She is a world of knowledge Becca up front has always been awesome in picking out the perfect frames. Super friendly and it’s a pleasure going in for my visit. I actually love going for eye visits with them.

Carlsbad Optometry is clearly my goto place for optometry. A visionary in my local community, they have become a focal point for all eye related concerns. When I first made contact, I knew I had peeped the right place. Upon seeing me enter I was provided with top tier customer service. The entire staff is kind, knowledgeable, and caring. The prices are also transparent. I couldn't see myself going to another optometrist again.

I've been seeing Dr. Manton for at least seven years. She is wonderful - easy to talk to, friendly, supportive, answers all questions and helpfully explains everything. I have great confidence in her care. The optical shop has always done a great job making my glasses and assisting with adjustments whenever i need them.

Absolutely fantastic practitioner. Terrific bedside manner and extremely knowledgeable. I’ve been coming to see him for years and will follow him if he ever changes his location. He is that good. He will take the time to educate you, explain to you, and give you his honest opinion on anything you could Inquire about. 5 stars.

I have come to FYEO for many years. Up until the last year or so I have been highly satisfied. Recently I have been extremely disappointed. Twice now when I have come to pick up my contact prescription there has been a major issue. Once, they ordered the wrong prescription and tried to play it off like it was my fault. The second time, today, they didn’t have my contacts in at all, even though I had gotten an email saying they were ready for pickup. I was told the email was automatic and not to be considered actually true. I was also told that I asked to have three prescriptions prepared and ordered in succession (I did not). I was told that they *might* have trials for me to use for 5 days while they order the correct prescription (which would take several weeks to ship), and they everything was a miscommunication. On top of that Dr. Jungles was not kind, caring and compassionate at my appointment the way I am used to with Dr. Scott. He cut me off regularly, struggled to listen when I repeatedly told him I am sensitive to different contact material and I’m now wondering if he was part of the confusion with the contact ordering (since I clearly never said I wanted three different prescriptions ordered with 3-month supplies each). I’m literally in the parking lot now collecting myself before going back in to try to advocate for myself to get my contact prescription. This has been awful.

Both myself and my 3 year old have seen Dr. Lisa. She is amazing! The office staff was also exceptional both times I visited the Lake Forest Office. Dr. Lisa is knowledgeable and very straight forward. She is thorough and really listened to my concerns for both my son and myself. This was my son’s first time seeing the eye doctor and she really made him feel comfortable. Her interaction with him was warm and very welcoming. You could tell she enjoys her job and really is there to help. I look forward to our future visits with her!
