Dr. Khosrof and his entire staff are unbelievable! From the consultation, and every subsequent follow-up, they have been wonderful. It took me a while to get my procedure done (I had to figure out my just right adjustment because I only needed one eye done) so I had several appointments. I never felt rushed or pressured and always actually felt that no one in the office wanted me to rush to action if I wasn't 100% ready, which is not always the approach doctors take. The doctor will sit and answer any/all questions, explain procedures and eye health in layman's terms and is always pleasant. The office is very busy which one should be prepared for but when you see the level of attention and care you when cross the threshold, you don't mind as much. I have recommended the doctor to family and friends and now to the world... If you are anxious about eye exams or procedures, this is the place for you.

Great visit; as soon as I left I told my husband to make an appointment. The office is old-fashioned but the medical equipment is as modern as anything out there. In addition, there is the welcome feel, practically a distant memory, of the kind of hands-on medical practice I so much prefer over the corporate model that marked my last visit to an eye doctor.

Extremely long wait times, even early in the morning. Always rushed when trying to talk to the doctor about my eye health, because there’s a backlog of people in the waiting room. I have trouble understanding all the high reviews. *update* When I went into pick up my medical records, the older secretary decided to pull me aside. I thought she might be pulling me aside to apologize for recommending another doctor in the practice who did a procedure that gave me terrifying side effects. But, no. She was pulling me aside to confront me about my dissatisfaction with the practice. She tried to make me feel guilty that one of the other doctors had provided me with time and care. I do feel like that particular doctor is a good doctor, however it is a doctor’s job and ethical obligation to provide a patient with time and care. Incredibly unprofessional and disgusting behavior.

Very pleasant ofiice, the staff are very friendly and very helpful. The technicians are very nice and polite also knowledgeable in answering questions you may have and will direct you to the doctor if they cannot answer. I look forward to my next visit when my follow up is due.

Good eye doctors and my exams went smoothly. The process is efficient in that they bring you in for the first parts of the exam and send you back out to the waiting room until your main exam happens so you're not sitting around waiting for the entire exam.
In the waiting room however, there is HORRIBLE music being played. It's like pop country & old pop songs that make the waiting room excruciatingly annoying. I was trying to read my book and couldn't even concentrate. The demographic it serves wouldn't seem to want to listen to country pop so why are they playing this awful music?? They should play some jazz. That is a neutral genre of music and all the elderly people would surely enjoy it more.

my experience was a decent one. I arrived on time for my appointment. I waited about 15-20 minutes before I was seen. the longest wait was after having my eyes dilated, after the picture, waiting for the doctor while a woman had a phone conversation on speaker. that was a bit annoying but overall the assistants & Dr. Pike was nice.

STOP OVERBOOKING PATIENT APPOINTMENTS. There are 0 reasons why if I arrive 15 minutes early for a 1:20 pm appointment I am still waiting at 2:31 pm to see the doctor. I am currently waiting for the doctor as I write this. My daughter and I will not be returning here once her follow-up appointment is complete. These wait times are down right ridiculous and unacceptable.

I always go here to get my glasses fix. The staff is very friendly. The waiting time is not long. They have different styles of variety of glasses you can choose from. The glass technician is also very welcoming. They help as much as they can. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for a clean professional atmosphere

Great experience. Dr. Chanmin is very knowledgeable and patient. Explained everything clearly and suggested a better RX ( progressive ). The staff was very friendly.

Had my first exam as a new patient today - I chose this place largely because they're the highest rated in my general area, but I can say all the good reviews are well deserved. Fast, easy and friendly, from intake to exam to frame selection. Almost a little *too* easy...
Also, am I crazy or has the intro price for basic frames/lenses not really changed much in 20 years?
I got a lot of attention and thoughtful assistance during the frame selection/fitting process, was offered an unexpected discount or two, and a deferred payment of the difference for upgraded frames until they're ready to pick up. What's not to like?

Julia Giyaur is a great doctor. I've had a bunch of different problems with both eyes. When Dr. Giyaur did cataract surgeries, each of my eyes required not only a lot of tests and measurements, but also a big deal of intuition coming from her huge experience. She is knowledgeable, skillful and compassionate. What makes her different from most of the doctors is that she does not concentrate only on a particular narrow problem. Dr. Giyaur cares about one's eyes and vision all in all. I am so grateful to Dr. Giyaur! I also have only good things to say about staff in NY Laser Vision, from manager to receptionists. They helped me a lot with ridiculous paperwork demands from flexible spending account, insurance, work-from-home letters. Thank you Natalie and the whole team of New York Laser Vision!
