This place is very ghetto and unprofessional!! They move at a turtles pace and they act like they don’t know what they’re doing. I went to get five fillings, only got one because they said they didn’t have time to do all five. I was also scheduled for a cleaning and they told me they couldn’t do it because they were overbooked. She ended up getting me in but now my mouth has been bleeding for three days! They act like they don’t want to work.

The eye doctors here are great. Staff is friendly and helpful! Glasses are taking a while because of Covid but other than that no complaints!

No one answers the phone at Mariner Optical, and they make no provision for voice mail. Is Mariner Optical still in business?

Customer service was awesome! The doctor was through, kind and knowledgeable. Best experience I’ve had at an eye doctor ever.

If you want to wait for two hours for a simple eye exam then come here. There are far too many patients scheduled for one doctor to see, I will find another office where my care is prioritized.

I had such a great experience at the TSO Rayford location. Yolanda is an angel and so amazing at her job, she really makes you feel comfortable and beautiful. I left with a smile on my face and can’t wait to return to get my glasses in a week or so. Whole staff is friendly, attentive, and the place is pretty & clean. Thank you Yolanda for being so knowledgeable, personable and kind it’s people like you that make a difference in peoples life’s for the better.

First and foremost I’d like to say wow! I have a collection of glasses and a pair broke. Brought them in for repair Specs gave me a fair price to say the least but the wow factor is due because I left my pair there for upwards of 2 years forgetting all about them. Got a call a few days ago and long story short I received my glasses in mint condition. 10/10 for my experience with this place. Literally in Awe.

This is my first completed year with South Gate optometry and through this whole year I’ve had to come back a few times to get prescription on to multiple glasses and they’ve always had great customer/patient service and always are friendly with a positive attitude. This was my second visit for an eye exam and the exam was done so well like the first one, very assuring with me, and optometrist Marilyn Hernandez very wonderful explaining everything to you and very assuring, as well as friendly!!! All staff are attentive and friendly! I love coming here and will stay here!! Highly recommend this optometry. I’ve waited a few months to get an appointment but they are so wonderful with their service I waited months to get my spot!!

I sustained a sudden detached retina that required immediate attention. First opinion after a 15 minute exam recommended full surgery, which would result in 5 weeks of inactivity in a prone position with side effects that included subsequent cataract surgery in 6 months with a best case 70% recovery of sight. I trusted my gut and pursued a second opinion with Dr Jay Wang. His resume is impeccable I and spent an hour being evaluated. He recommended less invasive in-office awake approaches and recovery recommendations …that reattached and repaired my retina and after just 4 weeks I’ve recovered 80% of my sight with more improvement expected. The only reason I was able to see him timely for this critically time-sensitive situation was the experience and persistence of his caring office staff in following up with the necessary referrals. Had that not happened, I’d have undergone an unnecessary fully sedated OR surgery and still be laying face down hoping for less success and 1-2 more surgeries for surgery related cataract damage. Dr Wang is calm, professional, thorough, and he listens. We can’t appreciate how important our sight is until it’s threatened. I can’t recommend or thank Dr Wang and his staff enough for their caring professionalism and expertise and am happy to recommend them without hesitation. 💖🙏

Dr. Hara was kind, professional, and quick. Called around a few places before I talked to her and they were all very terse. Dr. Hara was a breath of fresh air.
