Avoid this place. The first pair of eyeglasses I got here had both lenses loose, one worse than the other. I couldn't figure out how to tighten them so I took them back. They took my glasses to send back and get the lenses replaced. Almost two weeks later I get a text they are in. But only one lens has been replaced and the other one is still very loose. And the person I need to talk to about it is not in. When she finally arrives, they want to take my glasses again, to send back again, to have the other lens replaced. I'm upset that I was without my new glasses for almost two weeks and only one lens was fixed, so I complain about them taking my glasses again. It's Wednesday and she tells me I can keep my glasses for now and on Friday they will contact me to let me know how they are going to deal with it. Friday comes and I get a text message that my glasses are ready. That seemed way too quick and when I went in the next day, they didn't have my glasses and no one knew why I had gotten a text. "The system" the woman tells me. My replacement lens was not ready. I made a trip there for nothing. Since I was not contacted like I was told I would be, and since I got an erroneous text, I decided to end the situation and return the glasses and go somewhere else. The guy said he could order the lens I needed (apparently the replacement hadn't even been ordered at that point?). but he would refund me if I wanted. I gave them the glasses with the loose lens and they refunded my money. However I used an insurance vision plan, and until I get these incompetents to contact the vision plan to show the glasses were returned, I can't go use my vision benefits anywhere else. So now I have to deal with the hassle of getting Nationwide to notify the vision insurance that I returned the glasses. I'm guessing that is going to be a hassle too. Avoid this place unless you like problems.

Staff is so friendly from the time you walk to the counter til you leave out the door. Everyone is helpful, they take their time answering your question, you have their undivided attention. Brianne is amazing. She explains everything to you til you understand. She answer all your questions and takes her time with your visit.

Easy to make an appointment. Had to cancel a couple of times, but they were more than pleasant to reschedule. Everyone in reception was very friendly and professional. My son was called in on time. The examination was fast and efficient. The doctor was pleasant and answered our questions with patience. It was great to walk only a few steps to pick out glasses. My insurance was accepted and we got a fair deal all they way around. A rare, positive health care experience in this day and age!

10/09/2023 I have been using Dr. Barofsky's services for the past several years. He is a calm & patient professional that is always willing to explain his medical diagnosis of my examination in layman's terms.

It was a great experience. Linda had all the appointments with the Dr and the surgery center. Dr Johnson was very informative and a great surgeon. Everything worked out just like he said.

I am beyond pleased with my experience with Dr. Patel. She was very thorough and pleasant. Because of insurance I had to go to another optometrist (to remain unnamed) who did not catch my stigmatism. Dr. Patel found it and she fixed it! The staff - they are the best. I cannot recommend Upland Eye Place high enough. You will not be disappointed. It is SO good to see clear again :)

They are very kind, attentive, explaining everything very well in detail, my surgery went very well without any complications. I really recommend it.

The nurses were good at making me feel comfortable and Dr. Awad was friendly yet professional and did a great job with my YAG Cap surgery. Doing very well and no problems and my vision is improved. Thanks! Would definitely recommend you!

AL really helped me out today , my glasses look brand new . Not only is he prompt but also cost efficient with great customer service. No reason to waste time or gas , go to The Eyeglass Hospital and bring your frames back to life .
