I am reviewing as a caregiver for my sister who was the patient. Very classy place, all employees are very courteous and knowledgable ! Yes it's true you may have to wait to be worked through but Dr. Ranz is loaded down with surgeries then appointments the following day. He and his techs go way above and beyond this grueling schedule and do it very efficiently. Once you finally get to see Dr Ranz he is very informative and does not rush you through, he is very thourough and will answer any question you have. I don't mind the extra wait time because Dr Ranz is top notch and he has great employees too ! Not to mention there is always great hot coffee there too ! They go above and beyond to get to as many patients as possible each day and still remain friendly and put the patients needs first !!!

Unacceptable treatment of existing patients. Very unfortunate. I drove 30 minutes to find out I "canceled my appointment" 5 minutes before start (how? Nobody knows!) and they told me they couldn't see me (even though I was on time) because somehow in those 5 minutes they filled it in with an emergency. I took a day off for this appointment, gross disrespect for patients and their time. If I could give it 0 starts I would. They told me that I must have canceled it through mychart by hitting a wrong button (like it's that easy and while driving?) it's sad. Goodbye Northwestern after 15 years.

Absolutely horrible experience took 2 weeks to finally make an appointment and when I finally do receive an appointment they take 3 weeks to call me about my glasses. The man that answers the phone is very rude called me a liar and then proceeded to hang up on me Maybe get someone who can actually answer phone calls.

Dr. Wong's staff is excellent, efficient and caring. Dr. Wong is caring, patient, and explains things in a way that you will understand. My vision was starting to get a bit fuzzy, which because I have Multiple Sclerosis and Diabetes was not a surprise, but I thought maybe it was time for glasses. What I found was that I had specialized fast growing cataracts in both eyes. Dr. Wong explained that I could safely wait until they were interfering with my daily living or hobbies. Being a photographer I was terrified about having surgery on my eyes, so I put it off because they didn't seem to be getting worse. Then suddenly, months later, I realized that I was basically functionally blind in both eyes. When I finally went back to Dr. Wong, he was totally reassuring. He asked which eye I used most for my photography, and within days I could see out of that eye perfectly. Because of timing, I haven't yet been able to do the other eye, but am hoping to get it done this month. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Wong. At 61 I have had many doctors in my life. He is one of the best.

Dr. Julie Wagstaff has given me wonderful care not just now but in the past. I see my ophthalmologist, and I see Dr. Wagstaff for refraction because she does such a great job. She is so pleasant and nice, it makes the appointment enjoyable.

I have seen Dr. Raphtis for years, and have always been satisfied and treated well by him and his staff. I would highly recommend him.

I wish I could give six stars! Our family could not say enough about the customer service and technical proficiency of the staff at Brunswick Optical. It comes with a high recommendation from each member of our family! Together with fixing frames, they have taken care of our eye exams and selecting and ordering frames. Julie, Cheryl, and Ray each, on every occasion have gone out of their way to make sure that what we needed was taken care of. Their communication is excellent as we received calls providing updates on the status of orders. It’s uncommon to walk into a place and be greeted and treated as family or good friends, but that has been our consistent experience with Brunswick Optical. Thank you to the team!

I love this eye care center. All of their staff is super friendly. After making an appointment, there was little to no wait time. I want to give a special shout-out to Courtney, she is the best!! I didn’t know what style or brand of glasses I wanted, and I felt like she really took the time to figure out what I would like. I went with a pair of Tom Fords that are my all time favorite glasses. If you come here, try to see Courtney, she’s so sincere and I really appreciate her recommendations.

The staff and doctors at Eye Center Optometric are the best! Very friendly and knowledgeable and professional and helpful. The on-site opticians are top notch. They care about their patients! I have been a patient for close to 30 years. I recommend Eye Center Optometric highly!

Went for eye exam and everyone was friendly and service was quick. Will definitely be back. Joanna Murray was very nice and professional.
