Both doctor and staff are great - friendly and professional! Prices are reasonable too!

Had to basically force them to give me the proper eye test that I needed to be given due to an eye issue. I told her whats wrong and she told me nothings wrong. Tf!? Then after all that, it was the wrong prescription according to my second opinion the following day. Not just slightly, it was way off. Went back and canceled the glasses she asked me to order and she didn't even come out to apologize or ask what happened. Just poor service and outdated gear. It's all analog and not up to date at all unfortunately. I wouldn't go back here. I just saw a standing out front for an appointment and the door is locked. That reminded me that I needed to do a review on this place. Don't go here. You won't be impressed.

Office Staff is NOT friendly

Dr. Nguyen is amazing! I've always been tired my whole life. I've slept 10-14 hours daily. Always needing naps. Never wanting to go out. He spoke to me about BioTe bc of my hormone imbalance and educated me on how this can be a root cause to my issues. Fast forward! I've been on it for 2 years, I've had so much energy (hardly even yearning for a nap)and felt great that I was motivated to make a lifestyle change. Needed help my with knee pain and he helped with that too! Thanks Dr. AJ Nguyen!

Visiting the Elman Retina Group was a surprisingly pleasant experience! I arrived, feeling a bit nervous about needing the evaluation in the first place. But every single person who spoke to me or directed me in some manner, was so kind & professional, that they had a calming affect on me. When I mentioned how nice I thought everyone was, the doctor said, “Well, I can hire mean people or nice people. I prefer to hire nice people.” To top it off, I’m happy to report that my eyes are healthy!

I highly advise against going here for ANY medical issue, but also for eye glasses. I found out later that a family member got eye glasses that were so off they literally can't see out of them. After my experience, I can see why... First, Dr. Spinnato said that I have "eye allergies" because I made the error of saying that I recently started using new products for my skin and eyes. Of course, that was blamed. I was initially given a steroid called Altrex (a free sample!) that did nothing for me but cause more irritation. I was also told over and over that my irritation and floaters -- which got worse in size and greater in numbers along WITH the worsening inflammation in my eyes -- that I was "aging." Note: I'm in my 20s and healthy. Uh, what? I said I must have an infection since my eyes were also oozing and burning. Dr. Spinnato then ordered an antibiotic-steroid that made my eyes blurry and even redder. Great! Tired of getting nowhere, I went to see an ophthalmologist who confirmed in 5 minutes that I have viral pink eye -- which can cause floaters, redness, and pain, when it's bad enough. And according to the ophthalmologist, most eye infections AREN'T bacterial in nature. Based on the quality of my eye secretions -- which were also present when I went to Clompus, Reto, & Halschied -- he said it's clearly viral and will need time and a better steroid to heal. So far, the new steroid seems to be helping. Finally, Dr. Spinnato had told me directly she would dilate my eyes again at my follow-up. My new eye doctor confirmed that that would have caused EVEN MORE irritation and inflammation. After being dilated only a week prior, it would have only hurt my eyes. Does that tell you anything about how qualified the O.D.s are at this office? Save yourself the headache and wasted copay. I'm almost a week behind in my recovery. And not only that, but the receptionist said rudely after I asked why I wasn't getting better, "There's nothing more we can do for you." Wow, thanks. Well, at least a real eye doctor was actually able to diagnose the most common eye infection out there (fact!) and help me!

Excellent Eye Doctor. So knowledgeable and explained everything. Made my child feel so comfortable. Up to date office, excellent amount of glasses. Office staff so personable. Best Eye Doctor in Orange County!!

Excellent healthcare organization. Efficient and kind. The staff is always very professional while making the patient feel comfortable and at ease. All staff members are friendly and appear to enjoy their jobs. Spends the time necessary to fully explain procedures and answer any questions the patient may have. An exceptional organization! Highly recommended!

I found the staff to be very pleasant, as well as knowledgeable. Dr. Chang himself was the same. I was seen very quickly. The staff took time to answer questions I had. I would recommend to anyone.
