I was told that Dr Wortz would be there as well, he wasn’t. After waiting 45 minutes after the series of tests were taken, Dr Smith comes in and says he doesn’t know why I’m there. I told him I’m having mono vision, and he said no you’re not. He went on to humiliate me, asked if I wanted to pay for another surgery or what? He never went over the results of all my tests. I walked out. I have never ever done anything like that before, I was so frustrated and he made me feel foolish. My eyes are bothering me daily, I’m so sorry I had this done. He didn’t care about my eyes.

This office gets very busy so I went very early. Doctor is great and I was seen exactly at my scheduled appotinment time. It was a much quicker process, no overwhelming crowded waiting room, and it seemed like less hand holding by staff for the early appointment. I prefer this in and out style for a routine check up appointment. Doctor still took a second or two to ask how I was doing at home and work and he answered a quick medical question of mine. I felt taken care of by the end. Check out desk took no more than 1 minute in the early morning. Would recommend.

I'm a long-term Opthalmology patient, and have received excellent care at this practice, including referrals for specialists and second opinions. My doctor listens to me, answers all of my questions, and doesn't sugarcoat things, but gives me options. When I had a recent problem that required an urgent exam, they got me in quickly. Also, I found that my doctor now offers a new surgical choice that's less invasive, with a shorter recovery time. Medical eye care is changing rapidly and I'm pleased to have these options from a trusted provider.

While Dr. McClusky is great, some of the staff who she hires have been lacking in competence and organization and are often just plain rude. This includes the reception staff and some of the techs, one of whom messed up my eye exam so badly that Dr. McClusky had to redo it herself. Dr. McClusky is very warm and kind -- maybe too kind, because I don't understand why she allows this to go on. This is not a one-time occurrence - I've been seeing Dr. McClusky for years, and this has become a consistent experience over time.

We were so glad to have the expertise of Dr. Bowman to identify what my teenager was experiencing wasn’t dangerous, and use it as a fun science learning opportunity. He was great to find a way to connect with my son and the staff was very helpful.

I've always paid a lot for my glasses and had to wait up to two weeks to get them. I went to this place, got them for less, the same quality, and they arrived overnight. I recommend them.

I want to thank Dr Darwin for treating my eye injury after business hours. On June 2, 2022 at 8:30PM I was just getting ready to quit working on a home project when I accidentally injured my left eye. My wife had Dr Darwin Eye Care calling card from a visit to his office last month. I was going to go to the emergency room at St Luke’s but my wife said that I would probably have to wait for a doctor and he would not be an Optometrist so she dialed Dr Darwin’s phone number and he answered it personally. We were both surprised. We told him what had happened and he told me not to rub my eye and to come to his office immediately and he would be there ASAP, this was pasted 8:30PM. When we got to his office he was just pulling into the driveway, he parked and hurried to unlock the door and rush us in. The lights went on and he had me in the exam room and chair within minutes of us arriving. He flushed my eye and removed a small metal fragment from my eye, then flushed my eye several times after. He then inspected my eye with a magnification machine and told me I was lucky that I did not rub my eye because it would have cut a bigger and deeper wound. He medicated my eye and gave me medicated eyedrops to put in the next day. I ask how much do I owe him, he said not to worry just go home and rest and the next time you come in you can take care of it. I was really stressed and he could see that. I am very, very happy that we came to Dr Darwin for treatment, he is the best!

Great price, next day service, and friendly staff....BUT they broke BOTH of my glasses while replacing the lenses and failed to tell me or apolagize. I really liked my glasses and have had them for 5 yrs, replacing the lenses when they get scratched but some places charge alot or simply wont do it bc they are designer frames (tory burch). I was thrilled this place only charged $45 for the sunglasses and $70 for the scratch resistant polys on my other pair. When i picked up my sunglasses at the shop, i noticed the break on the temple but didnt think much of it because i thought it was just a lose screw. Then when I got back home and wore my 2nd pair, I noticed those were cracked (much worse !) At the temple too. I was livid 😠. The tech doing the work must be comletely careless and i wish they would have at least told me about it and appologized instead of sneeking around the issue. Shame on these ladies.

Carlo and Mary are amazing! They helped my mom with getting a new pair of glasses after she lost her the same day and had us out of the door and happy within an hour or so. Thank you both so much
