Optical Academy provided such excellent service to our school. The staff was well-equipped and professional, and they were able to bring a much-needed service to the students. We want to thank them for an excellent job!

I was referred to this place by optometrist. I saw Dr. Learned he was very knowledgeable and put me at ease. He treated my condition and gave me a positive outlook. I will continue see him. I highly recommend this medical facility.

The owner Karen was unbelievably helpful. She had knowledge and talked to me over the phone about possibilities and pricing so I didn't waste a trip driving there. She was really a great person who was willingness to listen in a situation that was causing me great concern after my son broke his very expensive glasses. Wish there were more people running thier business like her. 10 ⭐

Our eye exams were positive experiences for both my kids and me. Dr. Leah Gibson was great! She is very down to earth yet professional and made us feel comfortable. All the staff was friendly. My daughter was able to go home with her new glasses that day and my other daughter went home with a trial pair of contact lenses. Not having to come back for those separate appointments was great being from out of town!.

Denied my appointment because I had my kid with me, I drove over an hour to get here and not once did anyone mention that I couldn't bring my child.

Worst experience ever. I don't know how people still come to this center. It's my first and my last time. The receptionists are very rude, the guy and the girls just talk about their love lives and ignore the patients. And when they do talk to the customers they respond in a very rude attitude, it seems like they don't want to help people at all. So disappointed and angry.

Completely livid from my experience here today. I came in for a routine appointment, they recommended some other exams when I arrived which I agreed to and there were a lot of people in the waiting room, so I completely expected a long wait. I sat there for about 30-45 minutes while I watched everyone get called in. I then approached a woman at the front desk about the wait and how much longer it would be, she said she doesn't work in the check-in department but that she would ask someone and have them follow up. No one did. About 20-30 minutes later, I approached the desk again to see how much longer I should expect to wait so I can run down to my car. They were stunned that I hadn't been called back yet and told me the'd see what's going on. About 5-10 minutes later the front desk ladies tell me that they "lost my chart" (whatever that means in such a tiny place) but that they can see me ASAP. So I asked about how long should I expect the appointment to be and they said another 1-1.5 hours! Immediate no considering I'd already been there for over an hour. The best they could do for me was to schedule me ASAP or Saturday... I completely understand that accidents happen, and that's why I didn't let my anger take over the final conversation with them. Needless to say, I won't be returning here for my vision care at all. The wait was way too long, even for an error. Not to mention, I did bring it up sooner, and STILL was left sitting there. Super upset. That is all. Zero stars. P.S. I just remembered something else. This appointment was a RESCHEDULED appointment because THEY canceled the previous one. 🙃

I have been a patient of Dr. Cross for over a decade and have always received excellent care from him and the staff. Whether my visits are for routine exams or issues with my eyes, Dr. Cross always provides friendly and effective service. Lately, I've enjoyed the classic rock background music playing throughout the office, too!
