The wait to see the doctor is too long of a wait. The doctor’s office at 329 E 149th St 2nd Floor Bronx NY 10451sent me numerous text messages more than five.notifications/ reminders about my scheduled Saturday, 11/18/2023 appointment for 9:45!AM. But, on that day at 11:55 am. Waiting too long, I asked the person in the front counter when I am going to.go inside to see the doctor. At that moment already patients that came after me had gone in to see the doctor. That does not make any sense. How come I am still waiting? Then suddenly another patient shouted out and said their appointment was at 9:00 am and they were also waiting to see the doctor. They need two doctors for Saturday not one. I had to leave and asked to reschedule and was told no other appointment until January 2024.Since the doctor won’t be working Saturdays for the month of December 2023. This mean my insurance got charged for that appointment I never got to speak with the doctor and don’t know my results. Very bad service.

This was my first time at this place. The staff as well as the Doctor were very PROFESSIONAL AND PLEASANT. I really felt comfortable and at ease. The eye doctor, Dr. Viriya was very informative about my eye problem and gave me so much advice on what to do. She was referred to me by my Aunt Arnette. I was not disappointed for my first visit. Thank you all for your COURTESY, SERVICES and your POLITENESS.

My uncle was scheduled to have eye surgery it was frustrating to find out what time were they were to pick him up the office said someone would call by Friday no one did until late Sunday afternoon. After calling all the numbers on the paper he was given one nurse was rude and sarcastic I told her who works from a surgery on a Sunday she said to call the morning of his surgery. After making a complaint I spoke with a very nice man Mr Martin he took care of everyone including the 2nd surgery. He was so nice to speak to .. everybidy had cells but yu could never leave a message

I have been going to Bronx Eye Associates for years and the service is always great. For this visit I brought my boyfriend with me so he can get seen as well and he was so happy. Since he went to other places and they didn't help him. We will back always.

Let first say these reviews are very off and found no one rude or kept me waiting for my appt. Everyone was happy and very professional. I really liked Dr. Patel he was super informative and answered any question we had. Best part he kept on asking me if we had any more questions. Witch he answered all of them.. I am glad we chose to come here.. Excellent service and honest people

I had a great experience in this place thanks to one of the attendees Emily. I was very frustrated to get glasses and she was very patient. Emily let me try many frames, she gave me suggestions. She was not pushy with certain frames that could be more pricey. I gave her a number for the budget and she went with it. She explained with detail the features of every glass. The ups and downs of getting it. The specials and combinations that could be made. I left more confident on the choice I made for glasses thanks to Emily. I picked my glassed yesterday so only waited 10 days. And the measurement is good and the glasses frames are new. Another attendee ask ne to try them to see if they were tight and he made the adjustments for me. Overall a good experience in this place.

I have gone to this glasses store for many years but their attitude are getting worse. All my family members come here to buy glasses and the whole reason we continued is because they are pretty friendly here. The last time I set up an appointment with the store, an employee with red/orange hair asked me for my insurance card and directly ignored me for a whole 10 min to do something else while I was waiting in front of her. If you see this employee, I would recommend just wait for another employee. It wasn’t just a problem with her attitude. She’s forcing customers to pick frames they don’t want. I wanted a bigger frame because I have a bigger head size but this employee kept pushing me to get a smaller frame. I just randomly picked one because it was going to be covered by insurance anyways. However the next day, I told them to cancelled it. I would rather my insurance to not be wasted on a place like this.

Great customer service, both from Kristina and Jane at the sales desk as well as Dr. Mary at the eye exam seat. The store carries Major optical eyewear and stylish glasses such as Cartier and Channel. I was impressed about the eye exam technology. Paid street parking is inexpensive and easy to find at Flushing Optical Group NYC.

The wait was not excessive, the equipment was formidable, and two of the technicians who conducted procedures with that equipment were friendly, helpful, patient, and supportive. The third one, however, kept facing away from me when she talked (into her mask) and had to be asked several times to please turn toward me and speak more clearly, because I have some hearing issues. The doctor whom I saw was clearly an expert. He took the time he needed with the procedures for which he was responsible, and when he found everything in working order (thank goodness) and told me so, I believed him. When I volunteered a few short observations about my vision and asked him a few short questions, it was clear that--having found my eyes basically healthy--he had no interest in what I was saying, and was in a great rush to see the next patient. Not particularly pleasant, but his approach undoubtedly contributes mightily to the fact that I didn't have to wait an ungodly amount of time to see him, myself. The practice is, in short, a fabulously well-equipped, -oiled, and -trained eye-exam factory--some of whose assembly-line workers are more amicable than others. Perhaps that is the only way that medicine can be practiced these days. The bottom line is that I am confident that my "clean bill of eye health" is accurate and that--had any problems been encountered--I would have been properly steered. Which is all that really counts, isn't it? You don't go to an eye doctor for a spa treatment.

Staff was friendly, informative and professional. Appreciate their efforts. Office was well organized, chic and comfy. You will, without a doubt receive top notch care here for you eye health. Just a fare warning for those doing self-pay, they refuse to tell you how much your visit is in an advance. Not even an estimated average that other patients with similar concerns have paid. I find that ludicrous & opportunistic, especially they do not offer a payment plan. You must pay on the spot. You will be spending (based on overhearing what other patients paid) between $700-$1000 for a visit. But what you pay for is of quality care. Stay blessed.
