I strongly advise anyone in need of optometric care to steer clear of this particular practitioner, Tammy Tran . Her rude demeanor and lack of professional courtesy have left a lasting negative impression on me ( and lots of other people as you can see in the reviews). I sincerely hope that she takes all these feedback to heart and seeks the training and guidance necessary to improve her interactions with patients. Treating others with respect and empathy should be the cornerstone of any healthcare profession, and this optometrist has a long way to go in learning that valuable lesson. Her rude behaviour and lack of professionalism deserves a zero star, not even 1.

Dr Elmallah saved what little sight I had left in my left eye due to glycoma after my previous doctor ignored the problem. Thank you doctor for the great work!

First time getting glasses after 8 years and I gotta say I was nervous about the process and ended up leaving same day with my finished glasses with a great price. All of the employees were extremely friendly and helpful. The exam lasted no longer than 5 minutes. The lab was quick I got my glasses in less than 30 min. Definitely recommending friends and family, I will be back soon. Shoutout to IDA for assisting me throughout the entire process. Extremely satisfied with the final product. New loyal customer here.

My wife’s neurologist suggested that we get her left eye checked by an ophthalmologist due to an increase of floaters, halos and overall blurry vision. I called the CNY Ophthalmology office the next day around 2:00pm to try to schedule an appointment. The lady that answered the phone was extremely pleasant and stated that she would be able to get us in at 3:00pm. We were shocked but excited to get in so soon! She double checked that we wouldn’t have to pay anything with our insurance and let us know to get there early to fill out paperwork. Everyone was extremely pleasant at the office while they performed the eye exam to see the condition of her optic nerves. Dr. Petrela listened to all of her symptoms before checking her eyes. She had two more tests ran- as a secondary measure- everything looked healthy to her. She seemed concerned that my wife’s vision had recently changed and went through a list of tests that she think would help to find the issue. We let her know that we have been working with a few specialists so far and that a lot of the tests she suggested came back normal already. She was so concerned about my wife’s vision issues that she is following up with one of her colleagues to help her find an immunologist! The office staff and Dr. Petrela are amazing and we will be returning to her for both of our yearly eye exams!

Melinda and Nay gave me wonderful assistance. I was in and out in no time. They were fully aware of all my needs I didn’t even have to ask any questions. Great experience. I was 9 months preggo and didn’t have the time to come to pick up my contacts and glasses so Blake Mccoy brought them to me personally. That’s wonderful customer service I really appreciate that.

It was an amazing experience for me , all the staff were very considerate, they were professional, the surgery was pain free and I was in and out of there in no time

They have no consideration for their patients. I arrived a little late due to toddler tantrums. It was very early in the morning and DEAD. One patient there. They turned me down, told me I would have to set up another appointment. NO THANK YOU I WILL TAKE MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!!!!! So I walk out and turn around to see the ladies at the front desk gossiping about me! They have no idea that I had a horrible start to my day and seriously wouldn't take my daughter. They allow 15 minutes late. I was 20 is that a big deal? When I go there and am on time... I end up waiting 20 minutes to be seen anyways. I will never set foot in there again.

Growing up in Smyrna I have had an eye doctor out there that I have seen since I was just a kid. After moving to Sugar Hill my husband found this doctors office and absolutely loved it. He just got his second pair and second annual eye exam …

Love this store. Have been going ever since I needed glasses. They are very helpful and help you for as long as you need. I spent about an hour picking out a frame and I didn't feel pressured at all to move along. The doctor is also amazing here. Definitely worth making this place your new optical store.
