My daughter (8) has chronic illness and was seen at Casey Eye in Portland. We left with a script and a list of places that took our insurance, this was our first stop. I'm new to glasses and they made it so easy! We walked in and they were able to accommodate us and got us in quickly. They had many choices and my daughter will have her glasses in 3-4 weeks. I seriously couldn't have asked for more. Pleasantly surprised how easy they made it!

Simply the best, Ive been a patient since the office opened. I'd highly recommend Dr. Kha. It's too bad I can't add a few more stars

Rude receptionist

The worst eye Dr experience of my life. I was seeing Dr. Ellingson before she retired last fall. They got a new Dr who was not certified through eye med and said I could see her but would have to pay out of pocket. I waited 6 MONTHS and was still unable to be seen by her because she wasn't approved through eye med so I had to switch offices. On the day of my appointment at the new office, I was told my appointment had been cancelled because the Dr was out for the day and needed to reschedule. Mind you I have been out of contacts for 7 months at that point and am wearing an old pair of glasses. I finally get seen by the Dr and she gave me a new pair of contacts to try because they were out of stock on my brand and they did not work for my eyes. She said if they didn't work then they would order my correct brand. So I called and let them know I needed my old brand and they said they would order them for me. Here we are, a month out from my appointment and I've tried calling, left 2 voicemails and they will not return my call. I still don't have my contacts and it has been 8 months!! I will NEVER be back to a Midwest eye consultants office ever again!!!!

Great experience! The young lady patiently helped me pick out a new pair of glasses. When I went back to pick them up, I was in and out within 10 minutes. Very pleasant and courteous service!

Went to see Dr Carey to have a lump on my eyelid evaluated. Turned out to be much more serious than I originally thought. Dr Carey was professional and straight forward with me. He told me I needed surgery and explained all of the possible scenarios. I went into surgery with a full understanding of the possible outcomes. His office is clean and the staff friendly and polite. would 100% recommend.

About 2 years ago, they diagnosed my son with clogged eye duct and were able to schedule and do operation quick and easy. Highly recommend!

I recently started going here and have received only the kindest care. My doctors have always been kind and even joked with me during my appointments. However,I have experienced rude customers that enjoy staring and bad mouthing the staff. I do my best to be kind and courteous of the staff as they are doing their best. All my calls have always been answered, sometimes even twice in one day. They are a popular location that takes many appointments a day so only cancel if absolutely necessary, my spot was snatched within minutes of canceling.

I’ve been waiting for my glasses for a month. They literally get a call to pick up my glasses but when I get there, there is no one at the office at 12:00 pm . I waited 30 minutes just to see if they were on break but even after that no one was there. Like why call me to pick them up if they aren’t even in the office. I also got an eye contact test and they charged me 80$ after that they were giving me a hard time to get my prescription.

This was a great experience Monica the GM. Vicki the tech and Kay the sales person were awesome I visited this store 2 years ago and the staff you had at the time I said I would never go back. BUT……. This group of women were awesome. They were nice, helpful, caring, and pleasant to be around. The store was clean and seemed very well put together. Thank you ladies for taking care of me. I will be back and I will share my experience with others around me.

Wish I could give this place zero stars, but it won’t let me. Staff don’t understand you, waiting areas are ALWAYS full (they have two waiting areas). Expect to be here a minimum of an 1 hour OR more. It’s a normal thing around here to wait an insanely amount of time to be seen. Literally as I sit here I can see many people are frustrated and ask how much longer. I thought I was the only one expecting to wait a long time but like I said it’s a daily occurrence. They really need to stop scheduling more people than they can see at a time so you don’t spend half your day waiting to be seen. I highly suggest looking for another place, you are better off somewhere else. Very unprofessional to have people wait hours to be seen! Parking at this location is horrible, such tiny parking lot! The Dr. here doesn’t have personality. He just does his job, and on to the next patient. No sense of care for the patient. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE unless you have all the time in the world or just like to waste time :-)
