Dr. Chang is great. He is very flexible to work with. Brought in my old favorite Polo frames for new prescription and there was a flaw or defect in the left lense. He immediately orders me a new set of lenses for it. Even my wife and kids are his patients now. Great office staff, Ms. Rina and Ms. Stella. UPDATE: Dr. Brad Chang never disappoints. Great service, selection and pricing!! Always "service with a smile." Zeiss lenses are great.

I love Dr. Chang, he takes his time to talk too you and see what you need for eye. He’s very dedicated to his work and to his patients. I’ve been going to him for three years and it’s best choice I’ve made in picking my optometrist.

The staff was professional and friendly. The Doctor was very thorough and knowledgeable, he answered all my questions and went out of his way to show me diagrams and explain everything. Also, the staff that helped me choose my frames was patient with me and I did not feel rushed or pressured to make a decision. I will definitely be returning.

i've been using stamper optometry for nearly 20 years. i visit annually and have always had nothing but exemplary service. the staff are great and always deal with my "what frame do i want?" where i nearly look at every frame in the place. can we talk patience! from a medical standpoint, the exams are professional and thorough and i am able to always end up with new glasses that work with my vision. they also diagnosed me with a cataract and made recommendations on how to handle that worked wonderfully through a recommended ophthalmologist. my eyes and vision are so important to me and i trust stamper to keep me seeing clearly. thanks to all the staff at stamper!

Dr. Bruce Stamper is a real find in the world of optometry! He has--no pun intended--seen every variation of every eye problem possible and is knowledgeable about them. He is kind and patient when asking how your vision reacts to the different glass circles and does not try to speed you through the test like some doctors do. He has a great sense of humor and a cheerful attitude. Although it is extra, I highly recommend the retinal scan. It allows Dr. Stamper to display your retina on his computer and point out if there are any problems or if things seem OK. You can then ask more informed questions about your eye health than in an ordinary exam. Dr. Stamper gets a five+ rating.

LASIK Vision Correction with Goodman Eye Center Gone Wrong. If you seek cataract surgery from Dr. Daniel Goodman’s office, thread with extreme caution with the additional procedures or surgeries this office recommends. Beware that even though Dr. Goodman performs the surgery himself, his office schedules/assigns most of the work including write-up specification for surgery to his associates. If the associate writes down incorrect specifications, Dr. Goodman will do the surgery using those incorrect specifications. I went to Dr. Goodman’s office for cataract surgery with no intention to have LASIK Vision Correction. Dr. Goodman’s associate Dr. Kathyrn Werner, who was assigned to schedule my cataract surgery, recommended the “Premium Cataract Vision Correction 2.” It included the cataract surgery and LASIK Vision correction. She told me that the cataract and the LASIK surgeries would decrease the need for glasses for distance and near vision and in addition because of my astigmatism, the LASIK Vision Correction would correct astigmatism which the cataract only surgery would not do. She emphasized the added benefit that this procedure also included a “one-year postoperative testing with multiple refractions to determine if residual correction is needed to improve vision.” I paid $11,000 out of pocket to Dr. Goodman’s office for the “Premium Cataract Vision Correction 2.” I had mono vision LASIK surgery done over 23 years ago by another surgeon. Even though, I was skeptical about another LASIK surgery the associates in Dr. Goodman’s office assured me that another LASIK surgery would not be a problem. Dr. Kathyrn Werner, on the write-up, mistakenly switched the right eye for the left eye and vice versa for the intended LASIK corrections. After the surgery, the right eye, which was previously corrected for near, was now made for distance vision. The left eye, which was previously corrected for distance, was now made for near vision. Thus, the LASIK surgery done by Dr. Goodman resulted in me having double vision with distance vision, blurry vision when reading and seeing close-up and at times painful eyes. During one of the post operation appointments, when the poor results of the LASIK surgery became apparent, another of Dr. Goodman’s associates, who was assigned to me that day, did not believe me that the mono vision LASIK corrections done by Dr. Goodman were reversed from my mono vision LASIK surgery done over 23 years ago, until she went to look at my records and came back to tell me that I was right. Dr. Goodman mentioned that I belong to the 10% of patients whose surgery he did and was not successful. For my last post-op I asked Dr. Werner about the “one-year postoperative testing with multiple refractions to determine if residual correction is needed to improve vision.” She told me my impaired vision was “something else”. Dr. Werner told me that Dr. Goodman, who was not in the office that day, would call me to discuss my options going forward. She told me that it takes 6 to 8 months for vision to stabilize and wrote me a prescription for eyeglasses. Dr. Goodman never called me. I called the office 6 months later. On my insistence for an appointment with Dr. Goodman himself, I had to wait another 3 months. At that appointment, on 8/17/2021, Dr. Goodman told me that my option was to refract the left eye back to distance and forego the near vision. It is depressing to live with impaired vision as the result of an unnecessary Lasik surgery that was also the result of a mistake and negligence by professionals. It is maddening when an unnecessary Lasik surgery that ruins your eyes, hence ruins your life, was peddled onto a cataract surgery

I got my Lasik done at Goodman Eye Center in March 2021. This was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, and I’m so happy I chose Goodman. From the 1st consultation until the post-op checkups, I only had positive experiences with every person at Goodman. Unlike other Lasik places, they did not pressure me to rush the process, and instead made me aware of all the risks involved. They took more scans before determining that I was a good candidate. They were flexible with scheduling and understanding that I wanted to wait so I could use my FSA. The day of, the operation went smoothly and calmly. Dr Goodman talked me through each step and I barely felt anything. He also gave me drops, sunglasses, and an eye cover to use during the first week after recovery. Right now, my vision is already better than 20/20. I was previously -4.0/-3.75. The discomfort after the operation only lasted about 12 hours, and even 3 days after the procedure, I no longer had side effects or light sensitivity. It’s incredible to not need contract lenses or glasses. My girlfriend is getting her Lasik done at Goodman Eye Center next month, and I highly recommend this practice to anyone who’s a good candidate!

Excellent patient care; friendly, attentive staff; no complaints: Dr. Goodman recently performed cataract surgery on both of my eyes. The procedure was quick, painless, and successful. From the initial consultation to post-op care, he and his staff listened closely to my concerns, answered all of my questions, and helped me overcome my anxiety of going "under the knife." It wasn't cheap, but when it comes to my eyes, I didn't want to take any risks: I wanted the best doctor in the Bay Area for the procedure, and, by reputation and peer accounts, that's Dr. Goodman.

Dr. Danny Lin is a very talented eye surgeon who did a wonderful job on my cataracts affecting both eyes. No complications, good follow ups and right on target corrected vision. I’m a bit sensitive to meds and may have stayed on steroid eye drops too long on my right eye which was operated on first. Had a bit of withdrawal symptoms and possible negative interaction with my blood pressure medication for about 2 weeks after the 4 week follow up visit. But overall exceeded my expectations.

At every stage Dr. Lin was just what you'd want if you were having eye issues. He knew what he was talking about, explained the medical issues clearly, listened to my concerns, and addressed them. He was one of several surgeons I interviewed and he was the one I chose. He assembled an excellent team, which did a wonderful job.
