This place is fantastic. We came with broken glasses (one glass popped out of the frame) and they fixed it in just 5 min. - and even for free. The staff is really nice, too. Will definitely come back for the great service.

Cannot say enough about Dr. Kolodzey and her office. My wife and I have been going to her for years. We always love catching up with Abraham and Dr. Kolodzey, but most of all we value the quality of care every visit. We really trust her and know that we are getting the best eye care possible. We cannot recommend enough!

My boyfriend received his eye contacts from here. He was told that a mandatory “training” has to happen before he could purchase the contacts prescribed… but that he had to wait for a doctor to conduct the training and would have to come in for a 2nd visit. I’m not sure why. When I got my contacts elsewhere, they handled everything in one day. He also was charged $30 for the fitting / training. He had not been told he would be charged for this. When I let them know this was going to be an issue unless they had this price publicly on display or proof they told him, the receptionist got defensive and told me she tells everyone and she she maybe forgot to tell him the price but did tell him it would be a charge. Looking over the bill, he incurred charges for 2 visits, not 1, the training was added on (sold as mandatory but not needed) and all in all they did nothing to admit their scam or correct it when asked about it. Finally, the minute we got there, I started coughing and sneezing. The carpet was stained with mildew and smelled like dust with dust particles in the air. The doctor is polite but that’s the only positive. Do not go here.

I had a bad eye stye that would not go away with at home methods, and it was becoming quite irritating. I called Dr. Couris' office, and they were able to get me in very quickly. The staff was awesome and the procedure to fix problem was seamless. I am very grateful.

I have worked with Dr. Couris for several years and refer many of my patients to him. Greatly appreciate his expertise and professionalism. He is a wonderful doctor that I can recommend without reservation.

Simply excellent and meticulous service! I've never experienced such a thorough yearly eye exam! The staff at the front was incredibly helpful and friendly. Dr. Alborzian is extremely thorough, very knowledgeable, laid back, has a sense of humor and super polite. He easily translates more complicated concepts into simple ideas that even I can understand. I have some bad contacts habits and he didn't lecture me about them but instead offered alternative products that would fit my lifestyle. He's genuinely interested in getting you what you need and making sure you are happy. I can't say how much of a hidden gem Eye Center of La Jolla is. I almost didn't write this review because I didn't want others to find out about the place and make it difficult to get an appointment! Go, and for once, have a pleasant experience!

I did my homework about which doctor I wanted and finally found one with all 5 star reviews, Dr. Alborzian, and once I saw that I knew this was the guy for me. After visiting and having cataract surgery I am happy to be able to add my name to the big list of happy patients he has. I was extremely happy with him as a doctor, a person and someone who truly cares. He gets 5 stars from me as well. Excellent Its been 2 years since I had this done and one cataract has now failed. I'm not so keen any more on this doctor

What a great experience! Dr. Alborzian is the best. I came from Cincinnati after finding him through MediBid. This was elective lens replacement and all went well. Also the surgery center he uses is great. My cost was about 1/2 of what I would have paid at home. Thanks again for a perfect experience Dr. Alborzian and staff.

I love Urban Optiks and drive from Palm Springs for my eye exams and to purchase glasses. Best selection of frames anywhere…there is something for everyone. The staff is very courteous and helpful. I used the option of selecting frames in advance; they were ready when I arrived for my appointment. I wouldn’t go anywhere else….

I have never been happier with my new glasses. Both me and my husband got our new glasses this week and are sure we will be back for sunglasses soon! The service was excellent and we can highly recommend Urban Optik SD 🤩 10 Stars! …
