My experience here was very positive. The front desk personnel were friendly and thorough. The technician who did my initial screening was friendly and knowledgeable. Dr Patel who examined my eyes was extremely knowledgeable and professional. She thoroughly explained everything. And has a wonderful manner. I’ve been searching for a good eye care provider. And I definitely have found my team!

My wife made an appointment for both of us, I went first because I needed to leave first. Dr. Geller got me all squared away. I then went out and picked out some frames, i already had a pair of Oakley's and I ended getting another style of Oakley's, sunglasses frames with prescription lenses added. I picked my frames today, loved the glasses, my only negative point is that they only came with a soft case and not a hard case in addition to the soft case Everyone was helpful and nice would go back again, much better service than V. S. They only added what I wanted on my glasses, rather than what my insurance would cover.

About 18 months ago I had an eye exam at Optical Outlets on 4th Street in St. Pete. I was very pleased with the glasses and with the price. About six months ago I fell asleep with the glasses on and broke one of the temples. Two more times since then and on all three occasions I was able to get replacement frames on the spot for very little money. I wanted to compliment the Office Manager, Megan Engel, for her courtesy, great attitude and her amazing ability to make everyone feel at ease. I've already recommended a neighbor and she also marveled at the great service! Thank you Megan & Optical Outlets for a job well done!

The employees were respectful and attentive. The office was clean and well organized. As a first time patient, I was impressed.

Today was my very first visit, the staff is not only professional but very courteous. The waiting area is calm and pleasant. The waiting time was very quick.The doctor is very informative, thorough, pleasant and took his time to make sure my questions were answered. The examination was excellent with state of the art technology to ensure an indepth examination to give an accurate diagnosis. I recommend this office to check out our precious gift of sight! I thank the whole staff for my pleasant visit. I look forward to my next appointment! Thanks again!

Dr Abe has been our family's optometrist for almost 10 years. We all are very pleased with him. Dr. Abe is very knowledgeable and professional. He always explains different options thoroughly and he is never being pushy on expensive treatments. Dr Abe truly cares for the wellbeing of his patients. He's been closely monitoring my two children's myopia development and recommended proper treatments for them. So far my children's nearsighted prescriptions have maintained the same as when their treatments started. Yoko, Dr. Abe's wife, also works at the office as his assistant. She is always sweet, warm and polite with cornea mappings and other measurements. During the SIP time, I was able to reach her easily through texts for ordering contact lenses and other supplies to be delivered to our home. I'd recommend Dr. Abe to anyone without reservation.

While most of the representatives I dealt with were kind, the optometrist herself made for a terrible experience. I had not previously had contacts and when expressing interest, she didn't advise me of the extra time requirement as well as the extra cost. Additionally, when asking my family history, I advised her I didn't know which she retorted "well that would be something your parents would tell you." Both of my parents have been dead for some time and I felt it was inappropriate to condemn someone for having limited familial health knowledge. I also don't believe she performed my eye exam properly. I have had glasses made with that prescription and have been wearing them for almost 2 weeks; these glasses are still more blurry than my old pair. it feels like it was either negligence or malice on her part. I may have to pony up money for another eye exam elsewhere in order to ensure my vision is cared for.

I love those that help the less rightful.

My mother and I have been loyal customers for nearly three decades. The owner Ian is a delightful, caring, and thoughtful professional; who is willing to work with you no matter what your budget. His laid back approach should not be misconstrued as indifference. He allows customers to linger and try on glasses without heavy sales pressure. His supportive staff reflects our local culture in several languages (Polish, English, Spanish, etc.) and his amazing sense of humor always is a source of joy, even on a rainy day. Far beyond standard perscription lenses, he has helped me revamp thrift store vintage lenses, and regularly exhibits enormous patience and gentleness, even around the elderly. Highly recommended.

Dr. Bhan is an amazing doctor and surgeon. From the first moment you step into her office, through your surgery and follow up appointments she is there for her patients. I believe most people are apprehensive about having eye surgery but she is so understanding of people’s fears and concerns. To be able to give people back the gift of sight, in my mind, there is no greater gift. I feel so fortunate and blessed to have Dr. Bhan as my surgeon!!!
