We have been going to Dr. Wan for almost 20 years now. He is always so professional and personable. Even though we live 45 minutes away we still make the drive to see him. Michael has also been with the office for a long time and gives the same great service. If you want great care come here!

Actually got there early and waited only 10 minutes to get called in. I received a very thorough preliminary exam from Maria a technician. And then a resident doctor came in and gave me a thorough examination of my eyes and discovered what my problem was.
Dr Mansoor Movaghar examined me further and told me how he could correct it the problem. I am glad I will finally get relief. Looking forward to my surgery!!! A good visit!!!

I am so thankful for Dr. Granet and his team. They treated me with such compassion, fixed my eye issue and changed my life. Always on time and professional with a wonderful bedside manner. I 100% recommend them to anyone who needs eye surgery.

My experience here was beyond awful. Save your time and go somewhere else. I waited over 6 weeks to get an appointment for my 4 month old baby. I showed up on time, with an alert happy baby. Almost immediately, I was brought into a room, and then proceeded to wait for over 90 minutes to be seen. At 1 hour I said sometime, at which point a student resident came in and I asked to see the doctor. After waiting for another 30 minutes without being seen, a cranky, tired baby, I decided my time is more valuable and left. I spoke with the office manager on my way out, and asked that they call me when the doctor was ready to see me. Bottom line, they didn’t respect me enough to be on time. The doctor never saw me. The administration and caseload at UCSD is awful. This is not my first experience at UCSD like this either (UCSD dermatology turned me away for being 5 minutes late last year). I don’t doubt the skill of UCSD doctors, and the reputation (I have a PHD from UCSD), but the level of respect for clients needs drastic improvement. I can’t wait to get a $500 doctor bill for a visit that never happened. I guess I didn’t learn my lesson from UCSD dermatology. Save your time and go somewhere else.

Never had a better experience shopping for sunglasses. It came with a welcomed and honest education about the different kinds of sunglasses. I tried not spending too much money and walked out the door with ray bans that let in too much sun only to go back for a return to get the Maui Jim’s that I really needed. The store owner was happy help me get on the right path. Thanks a bunch!

Ruthie is amazing, I stumble upon this gem when my glasses were in a serious need of adjusting. Ruthie cleaned them up and adjusted my glasses perfectly. I ended up grabbing a pair of snap on sunglasses, that I had been searching for forever.
Great prices, especially in downtown Gaslamp, I will definitely be back for my next set of frames.

*Highly* recommended!! 🚀 I live here in San Diego, and I'm so happy I found this hidden gem! (in downtown, no less!) ✨ I've been wearing glasses since I was 5, and I am truly impressed by Phil's (the owner) expertise. He has decades under his belt, and his father was also an optometrist. Very personable, too!
Overall, this place has such a great vibe. They carry a wide range of frame styles (even true vintage!), which makes selection a lot of fun. I got my everyday glasses from them a couple of years ago 🤓, and last year decided to try out the "sunglasses thing" with some fun frames. 😎 They've always taken really good care of me there, and I plan to keep coming back hopefully for many more years to come.

PROFIT OVER PEOPLE: I spent over $500 on an eye exam and glasses my first visit here. I wasn’t able to get any of my contacts prescriptions fulfilled. I asked what they could do for me, as I ran out of contacts because I couldn’t get my script filled w the prescription they gave me. I was put on hold, then told I’d have to pay another $200, schedule an exam, THEN order contacts to get a prescription. They didn’t offer me anything to tide me over, didn’t try to expedite the process of me getting my contacts, either. HUGE waste of money and time. Had I gone to Target optometrists, I would’ve spent half the money and had contacts the whole time. Sub par. Never going back.

Dr. Leung is a consummate professional in every sense of the word. Caring, compassionate and competent, I cannot imagine trusting anyone else to do this procedure. The equipment is state of the art, the staff are all above and beyond in their courtesy, customer service and enough good cannot be said about them all. Dr. Leung has assembled quite an impressive team that one needs to see to believe. I am so, so, very happy with my results and the follow up after the procedure has been tremendous. This place has my highest recommendation.

Extremely poor service over the phone. Seems that the lady answering calls is not very happy and seemed to be very tired, bored, uncaring and not willing to listen or assist. She was not helpful at all. She carelessly ended the phone call by a dry hanging up with no courtesy at all. She was working 11/12/18 at 1.45pm. Dr Leung is a great doctor with amazing manners. My lasix surgery was performed by him outstandingly. Unfortunately, this type of front line service dont attract new or existing customers back.
