Only Sam's I've ever been to that has just one associate to help and take care of customers. While I'm waiting with another man to be helped, for 15 minutes now, the associate is just chatting it up. Not a care in the world that he has customers waiting. I'll never come here again.

Dr. Dennis Cheng and his office staff are amazing and helpful! Dr. Cheng is a wonderful Christian and very competent ophthalmologist who knows how to diagnose and treat vision related issues and or concerns. His staff are always ready to help with eye glasses or sunglasses selection, routine eye checkup examination, and vision insurance related questions at the front desk. They speak many different languages, including English, Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese, and Taiwanese.

I'm typically not the type of person to write a bad review, but my recent experience scheduling an urgent eye exam for my mother was such a disappointment and waste of time that I feel compelled to share. I would not recommend this ophthalmologist. During our visit, Dr. Kim Doan was rude and dismissive towards us when we expressed concern about my mother's eye condition. She initially prescribed medication and ointment, but later changed her mind and refused to provide it when we asked if it had nothing to do with my mother's medical condition. Despite our request for treatment, Dr. Doan advised us to see our primary doctor instead of addressing our immediate concerns. The visit was a waste of our time, and we will not be returning to this office. Terrible experience here.. .Do not recommend coming here.

I’ve been going to Dr. Mark Komure since the early 1980s—and can honestly say he’s the best optometrist I’ve ever been to. He’s absolutely trustworthy, stellar at his profession, highly personable, and truly cares about his patients. I worry about him retiring because someone like him simply cannot be replaced.

+ The Doctor & Exam: The doctor was incredibly nice, professional, and thorough. The exam itself was a breeze. + The Technology: They have the coolest, most up-to-date tech I’ve seen at an optometrist, which made the process feel very modern and efficient. + The Majority of Staff: Most employees, including the receptionist who helped with my insurance, were kind and helpful despite a few technical hurdles. - Confusing Layout/Check-in: There is no clear indication of where to go when you arrive. Because it was raining and parking was difficult, I arrived about 6-7 minutes late. I waited at the front for assistance, not realizing the exam area is at the very back of the store. Better signage is definitely needed. - Reception Gaps: When I finally found the back desk, it was unstaffed. I ended up waiting around even longer simply because I didn't know if I should wait at the front or the back. - Insurance Glitch: A small error occurred during my check-in (clicking "back" instead of "complete") which added another 10 minutes to the process. I was totally fine with this—people make mistakes—but it did add to the frustration. - Unprofessional Attitude: The biggest issue was a second staff member who came over to help with the insurance glitch. She was incredibly condescending and lectured me about my lateness. Even though I was within the 10-minute grace period when I entered and was perfectly happy to wait for the next patient to finish, her "all mighty" attitude and "letting it slide this one time" lecture were uncalled for. Summary: One "bad egg" really soured a visit that was otherwise handled by a great medical team. I’d recommend the doctor and the tech any day, but the front-of-house customer service (specifically the management/senior staff attitude) needs a serious lesson in professionalism.

I seriously love coming to Eyes On The City, and I was so glad when they started accepting my insurance. (My partner had been going for years before I was able to make the switch.) The entire staff is incredibly caring and super generous with their time. Dr. Loeppky is approachable, knowledgable and great to work with for my care. My partner and I have had the absolute pleasure of working with Jin to pick our next frames too, and JIN. IS. THE. BEST. They truly make the experience when it comes to the best part about going to the eye doctor - getting a new accessory. ;) They listen to your preferences, immediately know what works for your face shape, and clearly know how the glasses are supposed to fit. They know how to steer you through the overwhelming process of narrowing down all the options and can quickly (but thoughtfully) tell you why a pair is / isn't for you. Jin's been exceptional in both our visits, and we've left feeling confident and - most importantly - excited about the frames we picked. Of all my annual appointments, this is the one I look forward to the most because of how great everyone at Eyes On The City is!

My wife and I both feel Gracie is the reason that gives us comfort in repeating our three years of visits. She is very knowledgeable with our benefits, insurance policies, insurance company's contacts which saves us lots of frustrations. Her job performance soothes the truth in the changes of our health and the cost to correct any new changes. She saved us money as well as made money for the companies connected. Her motherly and friendly charms are appreciated.

I had a great experience at 20/20 iCare iWear in Grand Prairie! The staff was very polite and welcoming from the moment I walked in, and the entire exam process went smoothly. Dr. Pham was especially wonderful—very patient, kind, and thorough in explaining everything in detail, which made me feel comfortable and well-informed. After the exam, the team took the time to help me choose the perfect pair of glasses. They were incredibly patient and made sure I understood my options. They also worked with my insurance, which made the whole process even easier. I’m really happy with my visit and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for quality eye care!
