I made an appointment with Dr. Opatowsky at Antelope Valley Eye Care to have my right eye examined for a cataract. He examined both eyes and we talked about the left eye as well, which needed lasered. My left eye had a cataract removed with a different doctor but my vision was still blurry. So, before leaving I made appointments for both eyes. A week later Dr. Opatowsky lasered my left eye to clear my vision at the Envision Surgery Center and the actual laser process took about 10 seconds. It was a miracle. I could see clearly and played golf the next day. I went back to the Envision Surgery Center a few weeks later to have the right eye cataract successfully removed. Dr. Opatowsky, the Antelope Valley Eye Care Team, and the Envision Surgery Center Team handled me with care and they will handle you with care too. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone, it really was a pleasure to talk with everyone, they all are very well organized, they all are patient focused with a “won’t fail” mentality. The equipment and technology used was state of the art. Both of my eyes see clearly now! Dr. Opatowsky is one of the best doctors on the planet, we are lucky to have him in the Antelope Valley. He makes the world a better place.

I had to take a family member for a follow up appointment after he was seen by this Dr. at AV hospital. The Dr. might be great and all, but the service here don’t. Appointment was scheduled and it took almost two hours for him to be seen.. he was told there were many other patients before him and he needed to wait, after an hour of waiting and arriving 15 min early.

Dr. Cook is a very intelligent, knowledgeable optometrist. He continues to keep up to date on recent research. He provides a very thorough examination. He has a great personality, has a sense of humor, and cares for the work he does. I would highly recommend anyone to get an appointment.

Initially, I had called to get an appointment for my son's eye issue. They were booking out a few months but when I explained our situation, Dr. Fazilat did what she could to get us in right away. The communication of the front office staff was stellar. They were in constant contact with us until our appointment and afterward. Which I appreciate more than they could know. Her assistant was also very thorough. I would recommend this office.

We love Children’s Eye Center. Dr. Fazilat is amazing! She helped my daughter to correct her lazy eye through surgery. She is very knowledgeable and experienced and very good with kids. The whole staff is accommodating and kind. Everyone and Ms. Heidi are very nice and always helpful. Thank you Children’s Eye Center!

The entire process of Dr. Farid's service ending with the cataract surgeries was EXEMPLARY!! The fact that she left me with something just short of x-ray vision is only part of my review. Dr. Farid was exceptionally professional, personable, competent, thorough, energetic and knowledgeable. Oh, and the doctor's terrific personality was a bonus!!
