My daughter was kicked out of the building by the office manager because she has a service animal. Not cool. Reported it to Sharp. Her dad did not get the cancer removed from his arm.

One of the best experiences I have ever had, sincerely! I thought I wasn’t able to do anything and the staff followed up, called me and informed my insurance did in fact cover me when a different doctor office told me it didn’t. On a Friday scheduled me for an appointment the following Monday and not only was the entire staff professional and helpful beyond belief Dr. Patel was great and in addition to my original appointment for an assessment was able to do one procedure that same day, then scheduled me for the following Monday to have a procedure done on the other eye. It has been many years since I have had this level of fast and proficient patient care! I recommend them wholeheartedly. Absolutely amazing! Thank you West Coast Eye Care/Acuity Eye Group and Dr. Patel!!!

The experience was excellent. I took my beautiful mom who's 90, hard of hearing and having trouble seeing. Everyone was so kind, polite, and helpful from beginning to the end. We truly appreciated them all and will refer others.

I had a question about the new patient forms to fill out. The young lady got assistance & made a retraction. I value it when a person humbly make a correction. The Staff was very courteous & professional. Dr Sharon D made me feel relaxed & even told me to call her Sharon! I was very impressed with that!

Dr. Hixson is absolutely wonderful and attentive. The staff here is also great. My appointment started on time, my tests were done in a timely fashion, and Dr. Hixson took the time to talk to me about my results and answer the questions I have. I have been coming here for three years now and my very rare contact lens prescription is always great.

It was my first time visiting this vision center and I have nothing but good things to say. Dr. Thomas was thorough and took his time with my 8 year old. You can tell he truly cares for his patients, he answered every question and was attentive. The staff was also kind, professional and helpful. I recommend and will be coming back.

Staff are incredible! I didn't start going to an eye doctor until I was 48 years old. Dr. Giles and his staff made me feel comfortable and helped with insurance questions. Pam is great!!

I have been a patient for over 20 years!!! I recommend East County Optometry to all my friends and family. Many of my friends and family have visited this office after my recommendation, and have also always has a wonderful experience. The staff is extremely friendly and has great customer service. Dr. Patel always makes me feel comfortable, and ensures I walk away with a complete understanding of my exam and results. He is always willing to work with my schedule and last minute needs. I can't praise East County Optometry enough for their amazing service!
