Dr. Benninger and his staff are awesome. I have been seeing this doctor for almost twenty years years. I am so grateful for his bedside manner, he takes his time to know you as a person, no rushing. He is compassionate, and knowledgeable. He cares.

I have purchased glasses and got eye exams from Westgate Optical for 20+ years, with an occasion or 2 when I tried another optician. I wear glasses since childhood, over 40 years. The others were OK, but Westgate Optical has always been convenient, professional, and friendly. They are no pressure when it comes to selling frames and lenses. At a recent visit I wanted to get new lenses with my new prescription put into my existing frames. They agreed my frames are good quality & in good condition. I saved a substantial amount by using my existing frames. The optician in no way tried to "upsell" me with new frames. They were more than happy to accommodate my wishes. I think I will stay with them always in the future.

Dr. Gampel is great. She is very experienced and patient. She has great bedside manners and was able to give me a very accurate prescription in moments. I will definitely recommend all my friends and family to her. I'm a very happy patient.

I had a great experience. Sophia helped me and she made the whole process an easy one. I will definitely be coming back when I need another pair of glasses!

09-22-2023 This morning had a visit to Hawaii Vision Clinic at Aiea. We filled out all the forms except giving out a Social Security information. A staff came up to asked for an SS number and I had to tell her NO we can't give away or they shouldn't asked for the patients SS#. Per staff don't be surprised if you have bills mailed out to you! I'm like don't you check the insurance first if it's approved before you give a service? Does this people know that giving out your full SS # is very risky! I tried to explain myself but also per front desk Big lady by the door stood up was covering up her co-worker and made me looked like the bad person here! I didn't care about all the staff talking and laughing about me even i heard someone says a Phsyco word! 🙄 She was like it's our protocol for billing. Such a bad service except for Dr. Wong! Never coming back to this place again. Please Be Careful!!! DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBERS!!!

How did you assume that I’m using Medicaid for my daughter. Why I can’t email you the prescription copy that I told you I lost. Very rude acting like nice. Will NEVER come back.

Expect to wait; seems like they don’t respect patients’ time. Scheduled for 9:15, but still waiting to be attended 30 mins later.

Simply the best! Service is awesome! Always happy and highly recommend for both adults and kids!
