I am not one to complain b/c the staff is amazing but I have been coming here for YEARSSS. Never have I ever heard my mother complain about her experience expect this time. My mother went to her appointment and waited 40 minutes in the waiting room, she was understanding that sometimes offices do get busy, but she was able to hear the doctor having a conversation with another patient about off topic subjects that had nothing to do with eye vision while her and other patients waited in the waiting room. My mother has never been one to complain about this office, but it was not a good experience for her today since she was going to the office with a concern for her eyes. Hope this will not happen again.

Dr Nejat is the best . I went to him with a stye that was painful and turned into 3 and one internal . He treated it conservatively and gave me a shot and my eyes are back to normal with no sign of a bump . Look no further when choosing an ophthalmologist . He also has the best bedside manner . I highly recommend him and would give him 10 stars !! M.S.

Best physician ever

I had been contemplating getting LASIK for most of my adult life, but the whole process made me nervous. Ultimately, the procedure was painless and the recovery time was minimal. I was surprised how quick it was and how soon I was seeing clearly. Dr. Chen and his staff were professional and informative throughout the process. It has been about 5 weeks and it is great to wake up seeing clearly and not have to deal with expensive and uncomfortable contacts ever again. I highly recommend Dr. Chen and North County Laser Eye Associates if you are considering ditching your glasses or contacts.

Dr. McDonald is very thorough with his eye examinations, also makes you feel like part of the family, very personal and caring! The staff he hires is very friendly and professional. I have been a patient of Dr. McDonald since 2007, would never consider going anywhere else. Highly recommended!

This place is a joke. Everyone that works here is incompetent INCLUDING THE DOCTOR. From giving incorrect prescriptions, rude staff, and long wait times. Do NOT come here!!!!

I read a lot of reviews regarding the emergency room. Many complained about rudness, long wait, uncomfortable chairs. Here's my experience. I came around 10 with my 11 yr old. The intake was smooth and quick. It must have been a quiet day. We were seen fairly shortly by a nurse, followed by an exam, then some paperwork, more imaging , and then the Dr. All in all we were there about 3 hours. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. I think emergency rooms are a stressful place and people have to realize that and come there expecting to wait.

My husband and I starting using this practice when one holiday my husband’s glasses broke, and the owner fixed them (when we couldn’t find anyone who could). We’ve been loyal customers ever since. The optometrist is very kind and professional. I really enjoyed her company. The owner is fantastic, and we love him! Just bought a new pair of glasses last night and wanted to update my experience. You can’t go wrong at Eye Optique!
