My first time coming here and I was pleasantly surprised at how smooth everything went. Dr. Varughese is as great and very knowledgeable. Carlos was also great! He helped me pick out my glasses and love them!

I had an appointment today with Dr. Shlomov, it was an amazing experience, i had glasses but wanted to try contact lenses, she made me feel so comfortable took her time to teach me how to put them on and not hurting my eyes, walked out of there with my contacts on and felt great wearing them! She was very sweet and courteous; she made sure i felt comfortable before walking out of her office! Very professional and gentle! Book your next appointment with her you wont be disappointed! Thank you again Dr. Shlomov you are amazing at what you do!

I just had my yearly eye exam at Park Slope Optical, and as always, the team was incredibly welcoming and efficient, the optometrist took the time to explain everything clearly without rushing. Getting my new glasses was a breeze. They had a great selection of frames that suited my style, and the adjustments were spot-on for a perfect fit. Overall, it’s my go to spot in the neighborhood for reliable service and quality eyewear.

Excellent service and caring shown by Dr Casie Hendrick and tech Sierra during last visit. I recently had experienced a change in left eye condition. I went for a full re-exam to understand what changes had occurred. While not covered by my insurance, I felt it important. Results were same after exam and some additional dilated eye scans taken. No change or damage to eyes. Both of the staff were comforting and I appreciate them for it.

I liked him as an eye doctor. Did not like his assistant . She never smiled , wasn’t friendly. Pretty much insisted I had my eyes dialated after telling her I couldn’t. She wasn’t welcoming or friendly. I felt very uncomfortable with her.
