I went here last year for a pair of glasses and had a good experience. Ladies were helpful and efficient. So I returned yesterday wanting to get a second pair of glasses. However, the people I interacted with last year weren't there, and instead they had a male optometrist who was extremely unprofessional. I never even got in the door because when I opened the door to come in, he immediately told me to wait outside while he finished up with a customer. He and the customer were the only ones in the place, so social distancing would have been very easy. I waited outside for over 10 minutes even though it seemed ridiculous given I could have been checking out and trying on glasses while he finished up, so eventually I politely asked whether I could just browse the store and try on some glasses while he finished up. The guy said no, just telling me I had to wait outside, not giving any reason nor apologizing for the inconvenience or long wait. I waited for another 10 minutes before finally calling it quits. I had plenty of time to observe the near empty store, and the male optometrist seemed to be just chatting up and hitting on the female customer he was with, certainly not trying to hurry in any way. Just extremely unprofessional. I ended up going to Costco for my glasses. While they probably had a smaller selection to choose from, I was able to find something I liked, and I was pleasantly surprised by the great service I received.

I wanted to take a moment to recognize the outstanding care I've received from the VA Optical Shop. Sheila has been absolutely incredible. I have a very difficult prescription, and she has always gone above and beyond to help me navigate new frames, lenses, and changing styles. She is knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely cares about getting things right. I'll be honest—I know I haven't always been the easiest customer. Like many veterans, I can get frustrated, especially when delays are outside anyone's control. Even then, Sheila has always treated me with kindness, professionalism, and respect. That says a lot about her character. I know most people are quick to leave reviews when something goes wrong, but I wanted to leave one because my experiences have consistently been excellent. I've never had a poor experience with the Optical Shop. I also want to recognize my eye doctor, who has been equally outstanding. The care, professionalism, and dedication I've received from both the doctor and the optical staff have been first-class. Please pass along my appreciation to everyone involved. Employees like Sheila and the rest of the team make the VA a better place, and I hope they receive the recognition they deserve for the work they do every day. Thank you for taking care of us veterans.

This is only the initial visit. I was notified last week that I had a cataract in my right eye. The staff at North Dallas got me in and when I walked in the staff was amazing. They were professional as well as being able to put your anxiety to rest. The Dr was Dr Dwyer and she was great and professional she informed me that not only the right eye but eventually the left eye will need to be done. I am confident and look forward to having this procedure.

Dr Guillmette is an excellent professional Opthalmologist doctor. He removed cataracts on both of my eyes successfully. My vision has been restored. I highly recommend Dr Guillmette at Ochsner Health Center.

My sons and I recently had our eyes examined at this Target Optical location. The process went smoothly, from online booking and appointment confirmation to processing our insurance. The eye exam was thorough and professional. The staff and doctor were friendly, accommodating, and very helpful. They walked us through the exam results, assisted us in choosing our eyewear, and clearly explained the pros and cons of different products in plain language. The overall experience was quite positive. We highly recommend this Target Optical location.

6/24 update- Dr Alina is still the absolute BEST. I have been to several injectors and she is superior to all. If you’re thinking about getting that quick fix but are unsure? Rest assured that she can be trusted to make you look your best! I’d recommend her to anyone:) I cannot say enough about her. She is an amazing doctor, a master injector and overall a warm, beautiful and honest person. I would recommend her to anyone! I had a botched lip enhancement and she corrected my lips beautifully. Thank you Dr Stanciu!

The staff are kind and professional. Dr. Vue is very knowledgeable and willing to help. I went to 2 clinics before this one and told them my contacts made me feel dizzy but no one cared to find out why- they just told me the prescription is right and I needed to get used to them. As soon as I told Dr. Vue at my eye exam, he looked at different possibilities and found that it was due to my astigmatism. My contacts feel amazing and I never feel afraid to speak up about my needs.

Dr. Canting has been the MOST incredible eye doctor I could have imagined. He has seen me since I was 7 years old, and I cried in his office when he told me he was retiring! Even though he will be gone, I cannot recommend this office more. The staff always go out of their way and truly feel like family.
