Very attentive, knowledgeable and helpful staff - through eye exam, to eyeware selection, to understanding feature options and the order. Will refer my family, recommend if you need help with any part of vision enhancement.

We've been with Dr. McMenemy since 2010, in the old building. He is a very nice and knowledgeable. BUT, recently his front desk services really gone downhill. Long HOLD time. Long in-office wait time. They don't send out reminders email/text or phone calls for appointments. When I called to reschedule, it is like they were doing me a favor to rebook my time.

Laura is the sweetest, most helpful optician! She really knows what she’s doing which is SUPER helpful when picking out glasses. Her customer service is 100/10. I really enjoyed my experience with her. She made it so easy and non stressful. Thank you Laura!

I was shopping at Walmart and Judy came up to me and offered to clean my glasses. We had a great conversation and I realized I needed to get new glasses. Thanks to Judy I was able to stop by the vision center and get a whole new set. Her customer service is amazing !

I am from out of town and was unable to remove one of my contact lenses. I was starting to panic. Dr. Amy Beam and the staff at the clinic at 4004 Magazine st, New Orleans were able to remove it fast. They saw me right away and were very professional and efficient - at the same time very friendly. Even one I interacted with from the moment I walked in the door were fabulous. I would highly recommend this doctor and My EYEDr on Magazine Street. If I lived here they would be my choice. Thanks to everyone for helping.

Last year at this time I had cataracts removed from both eyes. No one thought it necessary to tell me that sometime after that surgery a new cataract would form over the lens that would need to be lazered off. Well about 2 months ago my vision began to blur a bit so I went to my eye doctor and he told me what was going on and said he would set up a referral with the Eye Clinic to take care of things. I received a call and set up an appointment having to wait 2 months to get in with the doctor that did my original cataract surgery. Then I received a call a couple of days prior to tell me what my copay was and that it had to be paid before the procedure was done. I got to the Clinic and was taken to an office and was put thru an entire eye exam - I noted that this was just done a couple of months ago and was basically ignored. At on point I noted my eye doctor had said something and she said "he didn't send the file" and then she found the file. Then they took me out to take a picture of the back of my eye, which I noted my eye doctor had done. They ignored me and took the picture anyway. I guess they had to find ways to justify the $450 copay. Then another nurse took me to another office and when I complained about the picture she made the offhand comment that my eye doctors office probably didn't even have the machine in their office.
Now there is actually a 5* part - Dr Wiley pops in, takes a quick look at my eyes, says they need to be lazered and pops out. After taken to billing to pay my co-pay they take me over to the surgery side. I go back and wait for Dr Wiley to return. He pops in, I get set up on the machine, pop pop pop on one eye, pop pop pop on the other and done. Vision back to clear & normal!!
For the approximately 1hr 30 min I spent here I was with Dr Wiley about 5 minutes. I could see a quick review of my eyes before the process, but a full no holds barred eye exam was a waste of my time, but again guess you have to justify the co-pay.

The exam was fast and the Dr efficient. I spent nearly 3 times what I planned on, but I did get a great deal on a pair of glasses along with my contacts, it was convenient and they worked fast. My glasses took a little longer to arrive than expected but I can't imagine that the location I visited was at fault in any way, considering how efficient they were.

I booked an appointment for my mother, she arrived with my sister to her appointment, once they found out she didn't speak English, they determined NOT to see her and cancel her appointment due to “ translation issues” altho, my sister was with her translating. I have NEVER experience this DISCRIMINATION and unfairly treatment. My sister drove 30 mim to this appointment this practice treated us unfairly.
