My mother who is almost 95 years old this week and just had cataract surgery with Dr. Dao. She had both eyes done and we are so happy with the results. She had the largest cataract of the day for the first surgery. In just 1 day her vision was much better and after 2 weeks she's not wearing her glasses anymore. Naturally you have to wait for a month for the total healing but we are very optimistic for the final outcome. The surgery was done at the North East Alliance Surgery Center in Hamden and it was a delightful experience. Everyone was just wonderful and made my mom very comfortable. We were in and out in about 3 hours. The names of the staff that helped us with both surgeries were, Dr. Dao, Erica, Lisa, Dr. Lee, Dave, Angela, Tiffany, Josh, Stephanie, Marquita, Tona, Linda, Alexis, Liz, Sara, Wendy, Jessica, Jhackie and Alex. We took all their names because they were all exceptional. We hope we didn't miss anyone as they were all terrific. The parking was great and the office is beautiful. I don't think you could ask for anything more. Thank you Dr. Dao and staff for all the attention and comfort you gave us during this stressful time. You made it so much easier for us and we appreciate you all. We hope this review will help someone who is thinking of getting cataract surgery and nervous about the procedure, but our experience was a great one and would highly recommend Dr. Dao and the North East Alliance Surgery Center. Had my stye removed by Dr. Mueller this morning. Doctor Mueller was professional, courteous, and answered all of my questions. His tech or nurses that were there in the room were very personable and full of information. I would come back in a heart beat for the great service and pleasant experience. Beautiful office!

I see Dr. Mary Gilman and I really like her. My problem is the reception is not friendly or personable. I just called to get advice because my toddler poked me hard in the eye last night and it felt like it was scratched. Today my eye feels normal. I called the office, waited on hold for 6 mins to have someone pick up and hang up on me. Called back and waited on hold again and the woman I spoke to was really delayed with any response and didn't help me at all. Every question I asked she gave practically no response. No help at all. Couldn't even offer me advice on a personal level. Guess I'll be transferring to another office.

My entire experience was great. The staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable. There was not a long wait time. The Dr was great and listened to my concerns. I never once felt rushed. Brittany, the optician, was absolutely AMAZING!!! She has a great eye for style and helped me pick glasses that look amazing. And the manager who assisted me when I picked my glasses up was also very helpful.

Dr. Newton and his *Outstanding* staff provide *2nd-to-None* eye care for my complex eye issues. They listen to my concerns and explain diagnostic results and treatment options in easy-to-understand terms that would be in my best interest! I completely trust them with my eye care! *Highly* recommend!

Dr Ryskamp is one of the very best eye doctors I have been to. She is very very thorough and spends as much time as needed. I highly recommend her. I have been a patient for about 5 years.

Everyone here is always very helpful and personable including doctors. I also had the pleasure of meeting Sharon and she definitely made this whole visit very pleasant and helpful.

Dr. Pham was very kind and thorough. I have never had an eye doctor explain everything they are doing and also explain aspects of the exam and my vision to me so I was really impressed by the level of care she provided. It was a great and easy visit.
