The best Dr. Ever

These people are horrible if I can give the zero start I would, they charge my insurance for contacts lens when I don't wear contacts lens I wear regular glasses, don't recommend them never again.

Dr Nguyen is truly the gold standard for patient care. It is very clear that she genuinely cares for her patients, beyond the prescription check. Her approach is distinctly holistic, ensuring my eye health is always considered within the context of my overall well-being. This dedication and thoroughness show with every visit. If you are looking for an optometrist who is both highly skilled and deeply invested in your comprehensive health, Dr. Nguyen is an excellent choice.

Unfriendly staff. Picking up prepaid contacts. The person in front of me ordering glasses told the clerk she wasn’t ready. Clerk wouldn’t listen that I just needed to pick up and rudely told me I would have to wait for the other customer to be finished.

The 5 star is for Kaitlyn the district manager. I went here over 2 weeks ago and I had an issue with my glasses and frames. Kaitlyn has gone out of her way and the upper management to help me. I really appreciate their integrity and willingness to do all they can to make sure customer service is excellent. The care and dedication she has shown me has been beyond what I expected. I wish I would have had the chance to work with her personally in the beginning, but she was not available at the time. Anywho, I am pleased to meet her acquaintance and she is truly an honest and good person. She is extremely knowledgeable of the policy and products. She explained everything to me detail by detail. I hope that she gets all the BEST in life and may blessings come flowing to her because she truly deserves it! Thank you Mrs. Kaitlyn 🙏❤️

Been visitng Studio Optics for a few years now and they are amazing. Very kind and responsive staff, they go the extra mile to provide you with the best service possible. They also give helpful suggestions on brands, price comparisons and the additional features and try to give us the best deal. They have a quite decent collection ! One of the best in the Natick-Framingham area. Highly recommended !!

The service at Contact Lens Gallery is very welcoming. The doctor & staff did a very thorough job fitting me with frames and lenses that I wanted. As someone who just got fitted for my first pair of glasses they made the process seamless.

I’ve been here previously for other glasses but I went in Nov 1, 2023 to get an eye exam and had a bad time. I worked with Fernanda, I asked about some new frames and some sunglasses and she helped with all of the things. I ended up just wanting to get my current glasses re-lensed because vision and style is expensive. I was told at the beginning of the interaction that it would be $25 to use my own frames. Okay, that’s cool whatever. I left my glasses and went home. Upon looking at my receipt, it shows that there is a $0 charge for using your own frames and on top of that I was charged for a $25 warranty I didn’t ask for. I called the location to get clarification and Fernanda told me okay, we can remove that when you come in. Cool. When I went in to pick up my glasses I was assisted by the assistant general manager who said “Yeah she was actually doing you a favor cause it’s $25 to use your own frames but she subbed that for the warranty” okay so she did me a favor by lying or withholding info. If she would’ve been upfront or clear about how my receipt would look then I wouldn’t be upset. And now Assistant GM is telling me she was doing me a favor, sounds like sales misconduct to me and it sounds like they’re all doing it. By the looks of my receipt it shows that there is no fee to use my own frames that I purchased there previously and now I can’t get that fee reimbursed by my insurance because of the way they presented it on the receipt, it looks like I was frivolous and purchased warranty which I don’t get reimbursed for. Im actually very disappointed because I’ve recommended this place to friends and family before and I thought it was worth going back to. Go somewhere else if you can, transparency is an uncommon trait to find in a salesperson so when you find it stick with them! I’d rather someone sell me the value in their product rather than shoving it down my throat and call it a favor. Update: I emailed the team that said to reach out to them and they said they’d have someone reach out to me. It is now 11/14/23 and I have yet to hear from anyone.

I was unable to take my 10 year old that hates to wear glasses to his appointment so his grandma took him. I don’t appreciate the way the doctor spoke to my child and grandmother. Seems like he would be a good doctor but to sit there and tell his grandmother that you won’t give him glasses because you don’t want to waste the states money blows my damn mind!! Just because he gets buckeye insurance doesn’t mean I don’t work. I pay into that damn insurance every damn day I go to work not to mention he has medical mutual as well which I am sure they billed as well. Long story short he needs to learn how to talk to people. Will NOT be back but to get the glasses he should have gotten to begin with and would not recommend!!

Doctors are great-clearly they have a ton of patients though and you have to be prepared to ask your questions ahead of time as it’s kind of “this is what you have and here are two options”. Techs can vary and no one seems to get that you are there because you can’t see very well-and your contacts aren’t in! Still this is the place to be if you have serious vision problems.
