Wonderful experience. Office staff is friendly and professional. Waiting area is comfortable. Appointment started on time. Doc was patient and was very thorough. He independently confirmed issues diagnosed elsewhere. I heartily recommend Dr Rosenthal. Buying glasses was a similarly enjoyable experience. Plenty of options, professional advice on fit, candid advice on appearance and ZERO pressure to buy. Overall given the decline in manners in the medical fields, this was a surprisingly pleasant experience.

Dr. Latter is the best optometrist I’ve ever been to. She fixed my double vision problem first time whereas my previous optometrist didn’t in two years of trying. She’s careful, thorough and knows what she’s doing. I recommend her every time vision comes up in conversation with friends and family.

Dr Dannatt is the best eye doctor around! He is kind and patient. He’s extremely helpful and listens to what you have to say. Best eye doctor I’ve ever had.

The eye doctor I saw was rude and condescending. I have a problem with my hands shaking an told the nurse about it because I missed some dots on her test because I couldn't push the button fast enough. The doctor saw the test and from then on he was mean and treated me like I was stupid. I guess the nurse didn't tell him my problem. But doesn't matter. He should NEVER treat his paying customer's this way. They keep calling me wanting me to come back. I will never hire them again.

Their service is second to none. The staff is amazing, they are knowledgeable and professional. I wouldn’t trust my eyesight in the hands of anyone else. Amy and Angie were very patient with my barrage of questions, never once failing to put my concerns to rest. I am grateful that the Boise are has such a quality eye care center.

Excellent all around experience with Dr. Bollenbacher and team over the last several years. I've never had an Optometrist spend so much time with me to tailor and discuss various solutions for my unique needs (e.g. astigmatism, oblique axis, retina issue). Dr. Bollenbacher's great, friendly team has also helped me navigate some tough situations like ordering me a sample pair of lenses when mine were out of stock online.

Still getting my eye treated after permanent damage. Had some repair work done to close macular holes which I was left with after too many surgeries. Not a good experience at all. Started with retina detachment and now have very little sight in left eye. I only got that much after repair work done by another very excellent surgeon. Be careful.

Disappointed in the way they handled a missed appointment. In the past 6 years of going to them, we would receive a notification of an upcoming appointment. We missed the only appointments we have ever missed because their system did not send out reminders. We were charged $140 for the appointments. When my wife called to ask for any leniency, she was treated like they didn't care and that it was her fault for missing, while they also admitted that their system did not provide any reminders this time around. Ultimately, we are technically responsible and that is understood. The fact that they provided no grace after going there for years tells me something about the services they are providing. I have also had to go back for the first time in my life because they got the prescription wrong a few years ago. I didn't complain then, but since I'm already disappointed in how they treated us I figured that I might as well memorialize it here. It's unfortunate that we had to leave on these bad terms, but lack of any kind of understanding is the reason for the bad review. They are seemingly nice people as far as I could tell by the times I have been there, just don't rely on their notification system.

My time spent at this place was incredibly positive. Everyone was so nice and professional. I felt right at home. First time at a doctor's office makes me anxious. Not here! Definitely my go-to place for eye care. Thanks!
