As requested prior to the exam, I needed one prescription for reading and one for distance. These two prescriptions were not provided at the end of my visit. I was told that they would be emailed to me the following day, which never happened. I phoned the subsequent day requesting the prescriptions again and still have not received them. My sole reason for paying for this eye exam was to walk away with 2 separate updated prescriptions which did not happen. This is very disappointing and I will not hesitate to share my poor experience with friends, colleagues and on social media.

Loved my visit.. Hilda as always is Fantastic! She is always able to help assist with the options and gives her honest review of how the glasses look on my face....love her honesty! These are the things I am going to wear everyday why wear something that isn't a good fit! Thanks Hilda! BRAD WILL LOVE THEM TOO! WINK WINK

I have been going to Shields and Shields for a long time. I have always had a good experience. Dr. Shields is always pleasant to me and has a good sense of humor. The lady who helped me pick out glasses was very helpful. I have no plans of going anywhere else.

Dr. Lee has took care of my mother and father in laws for years. I have been seeing him for a long time and found that he is friendly and very knowledgeable. I trust him to tell me what I need to do for my eyes. I recommend him to my friends

Best experience I have ever had buying new glasses. My prescription is always perfect and I can always count on having the best help picking out frames that actually match my face for the most comfortable fit. I recommend Meadows Optical to everyone I know.

Never was able to get an appointment but the receptionist was kind enough to tell me to go off all medications that an Urgent Care Doctor prescribed to me. In her humble opinion I had dry eyes. Oh wait she’s the receptionist not a doctor and made that DX but my symptoms via a phone call.

I have a very strong prescription, tend to go for thin metal frames, and am used to transition lenses. All of these combined tend to make me the perfect difficult case for vision clinics to deal with. Most average places take me about 2-3 months to get my glasses finalized. The usual process for me looks like this: 3-4 weeks cause special order lenses+cutting them down, the first time they are never done right. Second time a manager takes over my case, and after another 3-4 weeks backorder for new lenses+manufacturing, I get them back almost right, but there is usually one big glaring mistake that makes the glasses uncomfortable. For round 3, (another 3-4 weeks) they focus on the one thing they got wrong in round 2, and I get back something I can wear. This has hands down been the easiest glasses acquiring experience of my life. I got my glasses back after 2 days, and they were perfect. Seriously, hats off to the technician. The have the highest index for transition lenses that I have ever seen, carry a couple of really great brands (looking at you Mykita!), and the craftsmanship of their technician is wonderful. They did make a mistake with my order, ordering non-transition lenses by accident. When I brought this to their attention, the first thing they asked was how they could make this right, I am currently working with them to get this corrected. Given how great my experience has been to date, I almost feel guilty about making them redo my lenses.

Had my first appointment today and I absolutely love everything about this place. Everyone is so kind and welcoming. In addition, the doctor is so knowledgeable , positive and kind. He takes his time to answer any concern and has such a positive vibe. I felt at home for sure. Very thankful I have found my eye doctor. Shout out to the amazing office staff who are the best people ever. I 100% recommend this place for anyone. You will feel so welcomed and at home. 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

I am so happy that I made the decision to come here. It was a warm welcome from the staff. They were knowledgeable, patient and kind. I didn’t feel rushed when it came to picking out my new glasses and any questions I had they were answered.

They are kind sometime there is miscommunication between the customer and workers but the optometrist is sweet and the ladies are trying their best. Coupled with the fact that their glasses selection is wide I very much appreciate it. the test is less than 30mins and your glasses arrive there in exactly 2 weeks they accept VSP insurance and others I’d call ahead to check if your provider is partnered with them
