I took my kids there for an eye exam. I ordered a pair of glasses for my child because she really needed them and couldn’t see at school. They said they would be ready in less then a week. 4 weeks go by and nothing. After waiting the first week, I just ordered a pair online. Once they were finally ready I let the store know I had already received a pair online faster and wanted a refund. I still have not ever received the glasses mind, you and they said they could offer a store credit. I told them that would not work as I had ordered all the glasses for my whole family off Zenni and they were less for 5 pairs then the one I’m their office. I didn’t need anything else from their store! The manager was very rude and had an attitude. Super unprofessional I would not recommend anyone ever go there. Worst service ever!

Yesterday 8/12/19 my disabled father went in to try and get a new pair of glasses, the older lady who was “helping” him was very rude about telling him that they were about to close, soon as he walked in the door she yelled they were closed at him, they weren’t closed yet . She still helped him but not really, she took one look at his prescription and said he would have to pay $75 dollars for an eye exam (which he usually pays $45 for there every couple of years) it was 2 weeks expired. They wanted $175 dollars for an older model metal frame of glasses! He told me she was still being very rude today when he went back today and tried to get everything done. He ended up going somewhere better that granted his prescription and even got a better deal! Please take this and do good with it, hire people who aren’t rude.

Dr Johnson was his usual superb self. Professional, educating, pleasant. The wait time to see him was over an hour without any update from staff until I asked. The excuse from assistant was-“well, you know how healthcare is”… Not a valid or professional excuse. I worked in healthcare for 45 years and know how it should be handled

Dr. Ma is super approachable, knowledgeable and friendly and his staff are all fantastic. They are always timely, helpful and even have the extra perks like the ability to text for appts or helping to clean/tighten your glasses when visiting. I never feel like they are trying to sell me on some new/expensive product and always have my best interest in mind. There's many closer OD offices (I've moved since originally coming here) but I still come back despite the drive because they're worth it!!

Erica was exceptional. Great people skills and truly helpful in trying to find me the best price for my glasses. The combined effort of Erica and Kristin had me leaving the location with confidence in my purchase and impatience for my cute new glasses. Thank you both so much ladies. Everyone was very attentive and felt approachable.

I had a very frustrating billing experience related to a punctal bilateral plug procedure. Dr. Roeske offered to do the procedure and specifically told me it was covered by my insurance. Based on that information, I agreed to move forward. It later turned out the procedure was not covered, and I received an unexpected bill. When I contacted the office, they refused to correct the issue and repeatedly directed me to call my insurance. My insurance then told me to contact the provider’s billing office. I have been sent back and forth in circles with no resolution. Ultimately, I am now stuck paying a bill for a procedure I would not have agreed to if I had been given accurate information. Being misled and then left to deal with the consequences is unacceptable. Patients should be able to trust what they are told by their doctor.

What a world of difference after my cataract surgery, vision is like brand new

I was very pleased with my first visit. The wait was short, and all of the staff were friendly and professional. I especially liked Dr Menon. She answered all of my questions, gave me good advice after a thorough examination.. I would recommend this practice.

A very unpleasant experience today. Went to my optometrist because I had what was basically a nasty pimple on my eyelid. They told me it will cost $300 just for the evaluation. I’ve been going there for a while so I agreed even though seemed very excessive. When I come in. A tech puts me in the room with an eye chart and starts asking me to read charts. I tell her I am not there for my vision - I had it tested recently. I have this pimple (very visible) so let’s not waste time. She doesn’t say a word and walks out. Then the doc and another person run in as if there was a fire. It seems the girl tech was crying that I didn’t follow her instructions. Seriously? 🤦‍♂️ I wasn’t rude. I just had no interest in being put through obviously useless tests. Probably to justify the $300 evaluation. Very odd way to treat your customers. I’ll find a different optometrist. One who still values customer service and hopefully one that also prices their services fairly.

An amazing place and staff from the minute I entered the facility. I was always greeted at the door and directed to the proper area. My appointments were always timely. Karen was always friendly and efficient and a great start to my visits. I was always informed about the tests performed and the next steps. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Sims. She is amazing and I am so happy I chose her as my surgeon. Dr. Sims addressed my concerns, answered my questions and calmed my anxiousness. She is a genuinely kind and caring person and skilled physician. I would highly recommend Wheaton Eye and Dr. Sims. Thank you for everything.

Excellent experience here! All of the staff and doctors were very friendly and helpful. Wait times were not long. Highly recommend!
