I went to the optical departmentp, I had an appointment at 10:30AM, I arrived and checked in around 10:20 and the doctor did not arrive to sams club until 11:00 am. When he arrived he went in to his office and spent another 10-15 min there then finally told me to come in. The actual appointment took less than 10 min because it was the second appointment for contact lenses where he checked to make sure the contact was the correct fit and give the prescription. It was very very frustrating!!!

zero stars. horrible customer service!!!! it took a month and a half to get my glasses after i finally called and they said they were “lost.” so magically they re ordered them and then two weeks later i got them after being told 7-10 business days when i ordered them the FIRST time. The lady at the desk was very rude and talked to me like a child when i asked questions about frames. I didn’t know there was hidden fees and thought i was covered by insurance for glasses but ended up paying almost $200. i felt like i was taken advantage of because i look young. now two months later i get a bill saying i owe $56??? i have my receipts. i don’t owe ANYTHING. i would never go here again. The eye doctor was nice but not the older Hispanic lady. way overpriced and billing me for random stuff. i have my receipt i OWE NOTHING! i should of been the one getting paid, if anything, because who “loses” someone’s order and doesn’t call them?! i wouldn’t of known if i never asked. after my review i was told charges would be dropped and it never did.

My glasses were made using the wrong frames. I couldn’t recall the model number of the correct frames. Linda was amazing! She searched and found the correct ones based on the fitting photo they took. She called me three days later and advised she found the correct frames! I truly thought the correct frames would not be found. Way to go Linda!! 🙏🙏

Wonderful staff who are all educated about all the equipment they use and amazing eye doctor who actually cares for her patients. Meeting a caring physician like Dr. Hua is rare. She educated me on how to take care of my eyes, walked me through the insurance process to get contacts or glasses, talked me through the different types of eye wear and what fit me best. I would continue to keep seeing Dr. Hua as my optometrist. Thank you giving me this amazing level of care! Thank you Andrew helping me through this process!

Dr Madison M is so thoughtful, kind and compassionate in helping her patients. Both my mom and I see her and just love her. Yes, there was a wait time (thus 4 stars instead of 5). My annual exam, which was extremely thorough, took 1 1/2 hrs, from when I walked in the door until I left. Aside from waiting, I’ve had a very positive experience!

The Athens office has a very Poor scheduling practice. My 10am appointment was made 4 months in advance yet it wasn’t until 11:30am that I finally saw the doctor. Despite the doctor being very good, for future procedures, I will be using another facility that respects my time and values me as a customer.

I have said it before and I am happy to do it again: Dr. Jennifer Lee is an excellent example, an exceptional Health Care Professional. Dr. Lee combines deep knowledge of her field, social skills as well as patient care. A recent encounter with a surgeon at Sharp helps me appreciate much more Dr. Lee. This surgeon may be knowledgeable but without a shred of doubt does not possess Dr. Lee's many other important qualities. It is crucial for Health Care Professionals to realize that the patients come to them by and large not because of their wrong doing let alone not because they want to, but because they have to. This, Dr. Lee knows this and she bymakes you want to go back and consult with her because she is not only a professional but truthful while putting you at ease.

I use to enjoy taking my kids here but this last visit has me not wanting to bring back my kids. On July 27th 2023 my 7yr old had an appointment at 11:15am we got their at 11am and she didn't get seen till noon you can tell this Dr was picking and choosing who he seen 1st we watched about 4 people get seen who were clearly their after my daughter so why did I even bother making an appointment if he is just going to pick and choose who he sees. Now having a 7yr old sit in the waiting room for an hr is absolutely ridiculous she was getting antsy like any other kid does. So I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

Can't give even 1! Worst optical center ever. Ordered glass with progressive lens. Order came back with a cosmetic defect on the frame; resend to replace the frame without receiving it. Replaced frame came back 2 weeks later and to my surprise, it was the same defective frame! Again resend it to replace the frame without receiving it and Costco lost the track of the order! As I didn't get any intimation on the order after few weeks, I went to the shop (not to mention, waited for 1.5 hours each time I visited there plus travel time), after rigorous search they found the same glass plus two additional frames. Some technician replaced the lenses with one of the new frames.
That's not all! After I came back, found the lens for right eye was not made properly as the progressive power for intermediate and near-sight were not giving me clear view. When I went back they offered a refund of $80 (plus refund of the insurance) and stated that they can't do any further modification for only this $80! When requested, they finally received the glass for correction (left me without any vision aid), but they (including the manager) kept saying that the lens is already made to the prescription (although I can't see clearly, and I had ordered another glass (computer) from there at the same time which gives me clear intermediate vision). If Costco can't make proper glass/lens, they should close the optical center. They are not doing any charity to it's customers.
Please refrain from going to this junk place if you want to save your time and get better service.
N.B.: The progressive lens they make is not a real progressive one, as it has only tiny middle area on the lens for intermediate vision which is good for nothing. This is confirmed by my optometrist. There are many other places where you can get better progressive lens and service.
