I went for my pre-op session with Dr. Shultz and staff. Everyone was very informative, precise, and kind. I feel that I have made the best choice in selecting Dr. Shultz to do my cataract surgery with the light adjustable lenses that he recommended. I am now starting my postop. And the light adjustments. My vision is already amazingly better than it’s been my whole life and the recovery has been good. I am extremely satisfied with Dr. Shultz.

I had cataract surgery on both eyes. My yearly eye exams are very thorough. I would highly recommend MidWest Eye Institute to my friends and family. Dr Katie H. has great people skills and explains things needed to be understood clearly.

I no longer have this eye doctor since changing insurances but I always recommend him when I hear someone looking for awesome eye Dr! Dr Holiwell is very attentive, loads of patience for his little patients and he also has an amazing staff working for him. Always a clean reception/waiting room.

From the start it was just perfect. I did a lot of research of my area for a good optometrist for my family. Huseman Eyecare had very positive reviews. So I booked appointments online, I got a call the next business day to confirm our four appointments and they sent over a digital new patient form and that was easy to complete. On appointment day we walked in and the ladies upfront were very friendly and helpful. They got us checked in and in front of the doctor with 10 minutes. This office operates smoothly and they were very helpful and insightful. 5 stars isn’t enough for them! I highly recommend!

I visit the Happy Valley location about 4 times a year and Dr. Elizabeth Verner-Cole is the absolute best. She has kept my vision problems in check and I owe my sight to her. She's very professional yet still has a sense of humor and is very down to earth. Each time I walk in I am greeted by a friendly yet professional gal at the front desk named Tiffany. Every medical assistant that comes out to the lobby and takes me back to the eye-exam rooms are all great by the way and really seem to enjoy what they do. I hope to never have to go to a different facility or any other doctor except Dr. Elizabeth Verner-Cole.

The Doctors that work here are nice, but (and I do mean BUT). The timelines of this clinic is HORRIBLE. I had a 12:50pm appointment and 3+ hrs pass and I am still waiting to be seen. Absolutely unacceptable how they stack appointments (heard through the grapevine) at some clinics, they schedule patients to see the doctor within the same block of time, hence the term "stacking." Literally, there could be 5-8 patients scheduled for 12pm, while another 7-10 patients are all schedule for 1pm...doesn't matter if you've schedule your appointment months ahead or if your having a procedure done or not; not even if you come in early to your appointment... point is, YOU WILL WAIT. Not to be funny but, bring breakfast, lunch or maybe dinner...you will be waiting for some time, so you might as well keep not go hungry in the process and keep yourself occupied. Like I said, good doctors, but there are only 2, (maybe that's the issue, just saying in case no one has observed that). Maybe having more doctors on hand may resolve the issue and that way more patients are seen "On Time" and doctors aren't spread too thin. I wish this eye clinic would do better. I am literally writing this review in the clinic, still waiting...because the Doctor is very thorough and helps the patients, but the waiting...😞...my day is gone. Legs are cramping up from sitting for hours...

Beautiful office, large inventory, attentive and friendly staff .. my wife and I found this office a couple of years ago and have been very happy since! Highly recommended!

All the complaints I heard were about the Optometrist. I came with prescription in hand and only used the Optical Department which is completely separate from the Doctor.
