Dr. Henderson does great with my daughter very friendly staff

I took my 6-yr-old to have an eye exam. The optometrist was really great and patient with her. My daughter sobbed about needing glasses while we were picking out frames and the staff were incredibly kind and patient. Also a very clean office with convenient hours. We ended up getting two pairs (back-to-school sale) and it was an overall great experience. Highly recommend them.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE DO NOT GO HERE. I went here twice and both times were horrible!!! First time I went the doctor was late by 30 mins!!! And he came in super rushed saying he had a surgery to go to. He did a whole bunch of things to my eye and it hurt!! He was in a rush so it felt even worse. Then I went back for a follow up for the problem I was having in my eye and he NEVER CAME INTO MY ROOM. I was told this follow up would take no more than 20 mins so I made the appointment during my lunch break and there was NO OTHER PATIENTS. Yet he couldn’t be on time for this appointment as well!? RIDICULOUS, UNPROFESSIONAL, AND UNCOMFORTABLE. NO DOCTOR SHOULD BE LIKE THIS. Definitely do not recommend. Avoid at all possible costs.

My husband made an appointment through Zocdoc online for the office. He made the appointment for Saturday which was available through Zocdoc. The office called him to verify his appointment and that since he was a new patient, that he would be emailed the paperwork to fill out so he is all set to go for his visit. After the paperwork was emailed, he got a phone call a few days later saying they needed to cancel his appointment due to new patients can’t come in on Saturdays. This was AFTER they emailed him the new patient paperwork. When I called the office to ask them what the issue was the lady told me “oh well the person he spoke to didn’t know that we don’t take new patients on Saturdays”. I’m sorry but I work for a doctors office as well, and every single person working there knows what the office policies are. This is possibly why they only have two stars which I told the lady on the phone. I have family members that go to this office and they have never had a problem, I just don’t understand. He was coming in for something serious and now has to find another physician to go to. My rating is ZERO.

Love the staff, love the doctor, love the treatment, love the service, did I say love? Yes! Great place and you're treated like royalty.

My 15 year old was seen here for the first time today accompanied by her mother. It was bad experience from check in to check out. The staff was very unprofessional. The doctor never bothered to even give her mom an update of how her vision was doing. She had to ask if she can talk to the doctor and had to ask for itemized receipt since one was not given to her. The charges here are absurd. They charge separate for everything even to teach some one to put on contact lenses-$160!!!!! And yeah don’t order glasses from here. They told my daughter she will get it 10-15 BUSINESS days-REALLY????? Today was a total waste of time and money. 1 hour appointment, and still never did get to talk to the doctor. LOL!!!!
