Dr. Yu was great! Excellent bedside manner, thorough, frank and knowledgeable. I've worn glasses for 39 years since I was a kid, worked in a VisionWorks/EyeMasters for 3 years and always bought quality frames and lenses, and I was ABOC as well so I know my stuff. But she noticed anatomical and functional aspects of my vision that no one ever prescribed for me or informed me of before. And the glasses I just picked up have a clarity and corrective factor that I haven't experienced in years. It could be a matter of having skipped a few yearly check ups or the fact that the doctor and staff that I dealt with were all "easy on the eyes" but no matter what I had an efficient and positive experience and no one tried to upsell me either which was a relief because I used to be a master of the upsell myself and was prepared to fight.... But the price was right on and I will definitely repeat the experience. Highly recommend.

My mom had a doctors appointment at 1pm. They called us back about 1:05pm. I noticed it was 2pm and we were still waiting. When asked how much longer before he comes in , I was told by the nurse we would be next. About 2:25 pm I went out to use the phone and saw Mr. Terrell checking out another patient that had come in way after us. When he finally came in The room I asked him why every time we come to the appointment that it takes so long for him to see us. He stoped me and said we could find another doctor. I just was in disbelief, and said we was waisting time asking questions. I immediately told my 81 year old mom that we will not be returning back. He tried to get nice at the end but the damage was already done. I believe he sees the African Americans patients last

The Dr and his staff are nicest. Very professional. I recommend them.

Dr. B was incredibly communicative. He listened to us and explained things in ways we could understand since we were not cataract experts. Looking forward to having him do our surgeries.

This is the only eye doctor I will go to! They are patient and definitely help you out with any issue you are having!

I had an excellent experience when buying my glasses. I just love the service Stacy gave! She was very patient, told me to take my time, and was very helpful for me in my decision. She has great insight on the right look for me and is very knowledgeable at her job. She has a Fantastic personality and she made it really fun to be there shopping! I got 5 pairs!!!

My entire experience at Ochsner optical was very pleasant. Taleah was helpful and professional. I must have tried on 30 pairs of glasses. I felt bad that I touched so many pairs, knowing that she would have to clean them all because of COVID. She was positive the entire time. Thank you for making it a pleasant experience Taleah!

The doctor is great no complaints with her! However, the workers will scam you. I said I wanted the cheapest glasses because they will be my back ups & I also have contacts and was told the cheapest was $250, then I declined and all the sudden they were $10… not the first time something like that happened.

Went for a follow-up visit post cataract surgery. Diverse staff, se hablo Español. Professional staff, friendly, great location, and plenty of parking. Really pleased with my outcomes today at visit. Grateful it is located close to my home.
