I can't comment on the Dr., only the office practices.
I don't understand why the office makes appointments for 12pm, knowing that the daily scheduled lunch hours are from 12-1p, making their clients wait nearly an hour after completing 5-10mins of paperwork (which could easily have been completed online prior to the appointment).
There were also two other sets of people in the office waiting at around 1215/1230 for Drs. who would not arrive until 1p. Terrible practice that shows a lack of respect for others time.

I had a fantastic experience at SharpeVision. Upon arrival for my consultation, the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. They were able to answer all my questions. I then got to meet with Dr. Lancaster who did a very thorough review of my eyes. After discovering a potential risk to my surgery he dug deeper in my files to make sure it was absolutely safe for me to receive the surgery.
On the day of the surgery they checked my eyes again and got me into the OR. Dr. Lancaster did a fantastic job talking through the steps he was taking. The surgery lasted about 10 minutes and I was done. Overall, I would recommend SharpeVision to anyone who is thinking about it.
Thank you to Dr. Lancaster and the rest of the staff for taking care of me.

People make the difference more than machines, I mean more than equipment. Both people and equipment at this facility are the BEST. Front desk, The Doc and the doctor assist all of them are very good. I would definitely recommend to my friends and family.
2. Their website, soon you enter their website, what you see is "avaliable appointment slots!" What could be more better than you can see and choose the best time slot that meets your requirements! I instantly loved that feature.
3. Almost all places brag about their brands and almost force to select among their frame collections. But not here, no forcing not insisting and not putting you in any kind of irking situation!
That's it.
I am very happy of my visit.
Wish all visitors have nice experience and great vision.

I’ve been to a few different eye doctors but my experience with Dr. Shanee was by far the best. She is extremely thorough and uses state-of-the-art equipment. I really appreciated how detailed she was during the exam she caught things that other doctors had overlooked in the past.
She was also incredibly patient while fitting me for my new contacts, making sure the fit was exactly right before I left. I never felt rushed, and she was so sharp and professional throughout the whole visit. To top it off, the selection at the office is great; I finally found the perfect pair of frames that actually suit my face. The whole process was seamless and the staff was great. Highly recommend her if you want top-tier care!

This place is great, and both doctors I have seen have had wonderful advice, professional candor, and expert care combined with expediency.

I have been a patient of Dr. Weene for several years, I could go to a larger practice, but I am comfortable knowing Dr. Weene knows my medical history. Also, the receptionist is not a jerk--see review posted by J. Gill, she is very nice and helpful. My only complaint would be the limited selection of eyewear.

I had called last week for an appointment for eye strain. They set me up with a time for Monday. When I came to the desk, I gave her my name and appointment time, and she said, “We don’t have you on our schedule.” Then she said “Oh, you don’t have to see Dr. GR until January.”
I was flabbergasted!! What a way to warmly accept and welcome a patient! How should I respond to an off-putting statement “Oh, you don’t have to see Dr. GR until January?” Did she want me to say “My mistake,” and walk out?
She then mentioned the words ‘new system’. She said she’d try to get me in, and I said, “Well, I do have an appointment.” She then admitted that mistakes have been happening, but she will get me in.
When I was called back, I asked if I was on the schedule, and the technician said “yes, on our side you are." I also saw a poster about the new system being installed early June and it would take a few weeks. Now that it’s August, I wonder why the receptionist didn’t see my name missing and then proceed to investigate further? The ‘new system’ is a big clue, as is other mistakes, to tell anyone to check further.
Nevertheless, she spoke to me with “Oh, you don’t have to see Dr. GR until January.” My appointment was with ML for eyestrain, not with GR for an annual exam. It seems she was more interested in spouting off that she knew everything, or was just reading off the terminal whatever was written there, and not applying cognitive skills.

This place is a disgrace. The scheduling is horrible. You can expect the be there in minimum of 3 to 4 hours. They have no respect for their patients time. I arrive early for my appointment expecting that there would be some waiting. I was there for almost 2 hours When finally, I asked them how much longer. And she said oh, maybe another 30 minutes. Mind you that there weren't many people in the waiting room. And they hardly came out to take people in the back. Finally, the Tech came back. Took me to the Back to do some tests. And then told me to wait in the waiting room. An hour later, I still had not been seen by the doctor. Finally I left. I took a date off, drove a hour away to sit in their waiting room for nothing. Fortunately, my situation is not urgent so I will be going elsewhere. But I feel bad for those who really needs their services. What's sad is when I spoke to the reception She told me oh our appointments are always at least 3 hours. We're always behind. Knowing this, Why schedule someone for a time You know, they won't be seen. Reading the reviews, it seems this is a common trend. Wills you really need to do better.

Premises were very nice. Service was friendly. The appointment started at the scheduled time. The tests were thorough without being burdensome. The doctor was very competent, answered all my questions, let me look at the results while he was diagnosing me, and explained everything. And he found a long standing condition no eye specialist had diagnosed before. Very happy with the whole experience.

My eye exam with Dr. Sacksteder was a breeze. He was very thorough and took time to explain everything. The office was clean and professional from arrival to departure. They even sent me a “good faith estimate” prior to my appointment. Great location. Great provider.
