My clip-on sunglasses broke. I really need sunglasses for driving. I was a long-time customer of Smith Bridenstine, who has retired. So, I went to another eye care company that wanted me to buy new glasses in order to get the clip-on sunglasses. That was too expensive since my glasses were fine. I tried the drugstore clip-on glasses that have claws to make them fit. That works but does not fit very well. I tried sunglasses that fit over my glasses. That worked but those sunglasses are quite bulky to carry around. Then I went to Barrett Eye Care and talked to the master optician named David. He was able to order clip-on sunglasses that fit my glasses. Success! Photos show how the sunglasses fit in a small case. Other photos show how thin and lightweight the sunglasses are.

He is a real professional!! Also everyone in this clinic is nice, even with phone calls and in person visits! Highly recommended!

Unfortunately I felt compelled to leave this review after several rude interactions with the front desk staff or whomever picks up the phone at this office.
Sadly these reviews are probably not viewed by the business owners but the customer service at this place is extremely lacking. Calling to make an appointment, ask for follow ups, or anything really is met with incredibly rude, short, and unkind responses.
Certainly makes me want to take my business/health elsewhere.
It's very unfortunate because the doctors, Morgan in particular, are consummate professionals and their patients are being negatively impacted by the office staff.

I've come here since I was maybe 12 years old and still come as an adult. Very convenient from my house and friendly staff.

Great team of professionals! Doctor Jacqueline Rola and the rest members of the staff gave me a wonderful experience. Many thanks to all of them.

The experience of purchasing new glasses was pleasant from beginning to end. For the entire time from when I entered the store to the time i left the staff was cordial and helpful. The testing was easy on the eyes and the directions from the assistant and the eye doctor were clear. Bpth were patient with me and my questions. The showroom staff were also cordial and patient and skilled on the pricing including any discounts. It was a low key, joyable experience.

Dr. Ahn was professional yet kind. Explained his treatment and answered all my questions. This was my first visit with him and I was comfortable with him and his staff.

The Dr is great. His wife/receptionist is absolutely horrendous to deal with. She will cut you off while you’re speaking and doesn’t listen to what you have to say. We used to be patient’s but our insurance was terrible to bill and deal with. However we changed insurance and wanted to go back to this Dr. His wife stated they were never paid by my old insurance and they didn’t didn’t want to work with us. So why not bill us? We thought they couldn’t work with us because our insurance was too difficult, not because they weren’t paid. I tried telling her I would pay any balance! She cut me off again and said “ how about this, we aren’t going to take you as patients “. I’m so disappointed. I wasn’t rude or disrespectful to her so why treat that me this way? And to make matters worse, she say’s “ bye “. It is what it is now but I needed to put this out there because of her. The Dr is amazing and will probably never get a complaint, but his wife needs a course on how to be professional. Ps she said “ we are a small office and every dollar counts “! As if I’m rolling in dough and every dollar I have doesn’t count! Whatever lady!😂😂

When we arrived there were around 20 people in the waiting room and virtually no vacant seats. New patients arrived faster than those waiting were seen and few left. When a seat opened patients jockeyed for a spot. Among those waiting were two in wheel chairs, one with a cane and I believe another with a walker. I have no problem standing but some of the eldery patients would. Noting that our appointment was already 15-20 past and most of those waiting were there when we arrived, I asked the over burdened receptionist when we could expect to be called and saw her scan past at 6-8 names to reach us. I was politely told that there was only one doctor. It seemed apparent that it would take hours to attend to all of those who were waiting. To my shame, I expressed my dismay to receptionist who clearly wasn't responsible for the log jam and inconvenience to the patients. My wife, who is much kinder and than I, ushered me out the door and chastised me for being rude. I can't imagine any other business that could keep customers waiting like that. It seemd that ther goal was to see as many patients as possible rather than provide the best health care to them. We won't be back but I owe the receptioinst and apology.
