My parents and I have been going here for many years and Dr. Pontius is always so kind and really cares about his patients. Nancy, Sandra and the rest of the staff are always attentive and listen to any questions we have and try to help out as best as they can. Everybody here is super friendly and I always look forward to coming here!

The lady's in the front office always go above and beyond to help us.. this is the 2nd time we've needed same day appointments or glasses repaired and they always help..if I could give 100 stars I would....

Dr. Komure has been our family optometrist for decades! As long as he is in practice, we will be his patients. I’m not sure we could ever replace him. He’s got an awesome personality, awesome office staff and he does such a thorough job. Several of his staff has been with him for decades. That alone speaks volumes. I hope he never retires. Thank you, Doctor for your years of service.

Dr. Komure is very thorough n always makes you feel comfortable. He’s never makes you feel like he’s in a hurry!! His stuff is Fabulous n always there to help you n make sure you’re happy!!!

Went through a lot of mediocre to bad optometrists and ophthalmologists in the Sacramento area. Dr. Komure is WORTH the drive to Stockton. Best skills and bedside manner of any others we have had in our lives.

I give this place less than 1! They’re so unprofessional it’s interesting how they even got clientele with no office admin answering the phones. So unprofessional. I read the other reviews, they been doing this for awhile. What a bad representation for business.

The service here is great! I called and left a voicemail and they called me back within the same day. Also they were able to fit me in sooner than expected! Thank you to the staff that does such an amazing job!

I came here because they excepted my insurance I noticed they have really bad reviews on yelp, after further assessment I can for sure say this small optometrist practice is the best. They are really thorough in checking your vision they took photos of my eye on two different machines and checked my eyes on this machine that enhances the alphabet to check the distance they found things in my eyes that zeiter missed this my first time I ever needing glasses this year I will be a repeat customer

Had called to reschedule a appointment because this would be my 1st time their and i didnt get a reminder call as i thought i would like other places do, so i missed it,but when i called to reschedule the lady was quite rude telling me it would be 40$ to pay her now over the phone when that didnt sound right to me she seemed eager to hang up when i was deciding if it was worth the 40$ she said i could just come by then to drop it off then she would make me an appointment i kindly asked would my medical cover that just out of curiosity and she said no when i figure how i wanted to pay shell give me a appointment. Kinda off to me if thats their policy why not say that from the jump and why not throw that out their that they do not give reminder calls and if you miss we will charge you a 40$ fee?
