Nice front desk staff

I have been extremely impressed with our level of care at Modern Heritage Eye Care. I have two young children that require extra attention with their eye site. I have seen dramatic improvements with both children, and Dr. Shasteen always answers my questions thoroughly. I highly recommend Modern Heritage Eye Care!

I have been with Dr. Helfrich for over 20 years. He’s the best, he is very observant and personable.He is very thorough with his patience and his staff has always been very cordial to my family. Most of my family sees Dr. Heldrich and we’re all satisfied. With his care.

We have been a patient if Dr Goldblooms for 12 yrs, but that doesn't matter they will no longer schedule my son everytime I call they are not scheduling and you have to call back in 4 months!!! Lol thank God he's not the only optometrist in Albuquerque!!

Dr.Phillips while very personable, is too lax when analyzing a prescription. He rapid fired questions and lenses to determine my eye sight abilities that my final readings were wrong. As result my $1000 glasses are terrible. When I went back , he repeated the tests and I purposely paused or indicated I was unsure. The readings the 2nd time were completely different. They offered to correct them for $480! I can't afford that. My advice is to not let him rush you

Was referred to the eye clinic. Couldn’t find my referral. My optometrist’s office had to call and fax again. A week and a half and half of dozen phone calls during which I was told over and over “your referral is processing, check back in a few days”. Today my optometrist received a letter stating they were not taking new patients. My treatment has now been delayed another 2 weeks due to flat out lies by their office. I could have been told that easily the first time I called. Why would you trust an office with your care that can’t be honest and wastes your time, energy and stress?
