completely gave me a replacement new pair of glasses I’m so happy , Everything was great. Wonderful service wonderful Dr. Toy wonderful picking out my frames. My frames fit perfect at the time that I ordered them.. When I went to pick them up, they didn’t fit and they were totally out of balance on my face and I put pictures here so that y’all can see that I need to come back as soon as I can to have somebody know how to fit frames to customer faces. I will return as soon as I can.

My screw for my glasses came off and I lost it and my friend referred Eyeglass World. She said they're cheap and affordable. Therefore, I gave it a try. Experience was really amazing. Customer service is on point and if they're busy, they'll let you know that it'll take a moment to assist you. And what I found super nice is, REPAIRS ARE FOR FREE! Love it.

I would rate zero stars if I could, my experience with this Costco optometry department was misleading and frustrating. I started by calling and asking if they took my insurance, and I was told they did. Later, after spending 30 minutes on the phone trying to schedule an appointment, where I went back and forth on insurance with the receptionist, she told me I was not listed as a dependent. I told her that I would figure it out with my dependent and made the appointment. At this point in time, she could have told me that the independent optometrist did not take my insurance, and instead let me believe that they did take my insurance. I scheduled the appointment and confirmed I was a dependent, and the day I showed up to my appointment I was told they don’t take my insurance but they could give me an itemized list to be reimbursed by my insurance. They assured me they had done this before and made it sound like a sure thing my insurance would reimburse me. At this point, I knew the chances of reimbursement were slim, but decided to stay because the exam wasn’t too expensive and I was already there. I left afterwards without ordering contacts because I did not think the optometry department took my insurance either. Another family member called that day and they did the same thing to her. They made it sound like both the optometry department and independent optometrist took our insurance, and then once she asked clarifying questions they told her that only Costco optometry department took that insurance because the optometrist was an independent contractor. Fast forward to today, I went to use my insurance to buy contacts because they had said the optometry department itself takes my insurance, only to be told once I got there that they don’t take my insurance and that “maybe the independent optometrist does.” I have never had an experience with an eye doctor be so confusing and misleading. The actual optometrist was great though, so if you can figure out the insurance bit and they don’t lie to you then I would recommend.

Make sure you go elsewhere, the Elk Grove optician office does not bundle the contacts and glasses prescription. They charge you twice as much as any other Costco optician, make sure to ask prices before scheduling and do not get optimap or dilation you'll be paying 300.00 just for exam alone! This independent optometrist is charging too much and Costco shouldn't allow it!

I saw the doctor’s ad in a Vietnamese magazine and decided to give it a try. Doctor was kind and thorough - gave me good recommendations for lenses to help me with computer work straining my eyes. Came in to buy Christmas supplies and get an eye check up- Efficient, fair pricing and kind. Highly recommend

First time coming here, staff was super friendly upon my arrival. We did a few test and then had a video call with the doctor who preformed the rest of the eye exam. Once done, one of the employees showed me a variety of glasses and helped me pick a couple different styles. The store manager was also amazing. He ordered my glasses even though they were not available at the time and managed to find them at a different location. Now we just wait for them to arrive :)

After 3 times doing eye exam at stanton optical in Elk Grove and with all these prescriptions I had very bad headache and reach to other optometry center with professional actual doctor and dr after doing 1 hour check up of my eyes figured out that all three prescriptions of stanton optical center was wrong!!!! Unbelievably worst system, irresponsible manager !!!! This manager even didn’t know how to handle simple issues and how to behave with customer once they did mistake. I understand making money is really important these days but how about ethical issue ????humanity???? first correct your bad mistake, solve an issue of your customer ,Which is health issue, eye problem! Then ask money because it’s you’r right!I can’t believe they even can’t give me right simple prescription after 3 times!!!only they can ask to pay over and over but when you ask them to do something right for you they cannot do it !! Disappointed!! So sad!!! No words can say! I talk to a lady over the phone which told me her name is Jennifer and once I ask her to talk to manager she told that she is the manager and she was really rude! Other things that worth to mention to pay attention about it, I ordered poly carbonic lenses but after checking the lenses in other optometry center they told me these lenses are low quality plastic lenses! pretty obvious how much was different than poly carbonic glass lenses!!

Always short staffed, posted hours are inaccurate (super condescending when they tell you they closed at 330 when the website says 5) lenses take 2 to 3 weeks. Even Kaiser is faster. Time for a new optometrist. Taking family to someplace who takes care of their 6 year clients. Update, figured maybe I'm being too critical. Went in for an appointment, showed up 30 minutes early, watched two additional people show up. They have you write down your arrival time and appointment time. They leave it out in the open so you can see my appointment was scheduled prior to the person they took in before me. This time in, I paid more attention to the office. The signs they've created should all have been red flags. "All sales final," "short staffed," "be kind,".... they appear to be expecting people to get upset. Anyway, I know I should have just given up the last rude encounter.

I have been going to an optometrist for over 4 years in elk grove area, recently moved closer to South Sac/ Valley Hi area so decided this one was closer and tried to make it home. Scheduled an appointment which was seamless, the day of the appointment arrived at the office and it might have just been me, but I sorta felt like the staff was short with me. I came in explaining I had been going to "such and such" office on the other side of Elk Grove and was talking about my family recently moving but it fell on deaf ears. No big deal took it in stride then the first line of help, you know the preliminary assessments she was down right rude. Very rushed and seemed like I was jus another number to hurry up and get through the process (NOT a family friendly experience).... now came time to deal with the doctor, he was definitely a tool in high school. Like the type of personality where he has to be right about everything and doesn't want anyone's thoughts except his. I didn't feel welcomed as a patient. These aren't even the bad notes... let's get to it, it took over a month to get my glasses. They were delayed due to factory error then when they did come in it was the wrong prescription, the entire experience with Laguna Family Eyecare was just horrible. I do not recommend and will not EVER go there again. I'll give the extra miles even with these gas prices, too the other office.

Dr. Larry Huey is the best eye Dr i ever had i find the previous review about him disturbing. every interaction with him he was very polite and we talked about pc gaming and life. hes full of personality, it sounds like the reviewer was being pushy or something so please take it with a grain of salt. a customer for 6 years
