My partner and I both got new glasses from Park Slope Optical recently and had great experiences. The staff here are super knowledge, and just want to offer good advice rather than trying to push you to buy something. We also found them to be very responsive to email, questions, etc. This place is really a gem.

This week was my first visit to Stuart Eye Institute and my experience was exceptional. The entire staff was wonderful. They were warm, welcoming, professional and very knowlegeable. Dr. Guerrero did a very thorough exam and identified that I had a tear in my retina. He provided a detailed description and explanation of how this occurred and what was needed to address it. His staff scheduled an appointment for me for the next day with a very experienced retinal specialist that performed a laser procedure that addressed the issue before it could become a detached retina. I cannot thank Dr. Guerrero and his team enough for how professionally and quickly they handled this issue for me. I highly recommend them. Thank you Dr. Guerrero and team! You are the best!

I visited the eye center for a concern I’d had about a possible eye infection. The staff was very open and friendly! They helped get me in that same day and explained the insurance costs as well. I appreciated the open communication so much! I was seen quickly and the doctor was very kind while explaining everything to me and answering all of my questions. Would definitely go again! I was so pleased I’m even planning on my yearly eye visits being there as well. Excellent patient care and good experience!

Torrey Pines Eye Care is exceptional. I've seen Dr. Bainter and Dr. Gardner and they are both great--very knowledgeable and invested in the care of their patients, and glad to take time to really listen and respond to their concerns. I've also always had great interactions with their front office staff. Highly recommend!

Staff was respectful Dr McCarthy was not and had my wife sitting in a waiting room for 2 hrs walks in says 3 words and leaves. Scheduled apt at 8 now 1130 barely leaving. This was just a PRE OP!!! We were told by 2 nurses that it wasn't even busy. I understand things can drag but every other Dr we have seen at the same facility was respectful informative and prompt. Dr McCarthy was not. Made my wife feel belittled and Disrespected

Great experience with Dr. Jonisch and his staff. Been diagnosed with Central Serous Retinopathy and had a scare of going blind in my left eye as my retina was detaching. I was referred to Dr. Jonisch from another great retina doctor to perform a low laser procedure. After 2 years my retina began to re-attach and I can say my vision has improved a good deal and will continue to improve. I'm happy there is no longer any fluid leak in the back of my eye and the condition halted from getting worse. Thank you!

I love the experience there Everything is so clean and organized. Yamilet was so kind and her assistant as well. I really recommend this place and great prices. I genuinely loved it.

I can’t say enough about how knowledgeable the staff here is. Not just the doctor, who informed me of fun facts I did not know about my eyes, but the Lencrafters sales people. If one didn’t know the answer to my question someone else did. They told me about all my lens options for my prescription. They suggested a hi-index lens given my RX. The doctor also gave me the information about the hi-index and how it would help my eyes. The staff gave me their honest opinions about the frames picked as well. They asked all the right questions, like do I want plastic or metal? What shape I want? If I was willing to travel outside my comfort zone? I ended up picking a frame I would have never picked for myself but fell in love with it. After picking up my glasses I was so thrilled that my eyes felt better in the lens option we went with. After wearing it for a few days I’ve noticed a huge impact on my sight. My eyes aren’t as tired at the end of the day and my eye strain has almost completely disappeared with their blue IQ lens option. I will def be returning for another eye exam and their opinion on my glasses. Can be a bit pricey but, if you are blind, you need them, why not make them an extension of you?!? Oh, also I got the 1 year warranty that allows me to fix my lens or frame whenever I want for the year and it won’t cost me an arm and a leg. $50 for a brand new pair of glasses in the year with my script. (Lord knows my dogs loves me almost as much as she loves my glasses.) I was also told my glasses would be 10-14 days. I was excited to get the text that my glasses were ready for pick up on day 7. I can not boast enough about the greeting I received, the help, and the celebration of my new eyewear! Jenny and her crew truly have outdone themselves. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Sending my parents their way next!
