I want to thank Dr Fine for all he did in an emergency to save my eye, I had been seen on a Friday late afternoon in florida, while on vacation, by a eye specialist and he advised me to get on a plane and get home right away for the surgery because I had a detached and torn retina. So the surgeon called NJ Retina and made arrangements with Dr Fine to do emergency eye surgery right away at 8 am to do a very successful surgery. I don’t know what I would have done if he wasn’t available on Saturday morning. There aren’t many drs that even work on Saturdays let alone be prepared to do surgery on Saturday. I could have lost the vision in my eye had the surgery no been done immediately He made sure to keep checking my eye every 2-3 days in the beginning and then kept checking 1-2 weeks after for 2 months. My eye got better with every check up and I owe that success to dr Fine. He was very professional and explained what was happening and how he was going to precede each time. The office staff were very helpful and compassionate, each time I visited. So I owe a world of thanks to all of them and Dr Fine at NJRetina for the return of my eye vision to what it was originally,. Something I really didn’t think was going to happen threw this very devastating ordeal I highly recommend the NJRetina and Dr Fine

Seconds before I was to be taken to cataract surgery on my left eye, on Feb. 7, '24, I was nervous and waiting. He stopped by and said good afternoon. I started asking him a question about the eye drops about my previous right eye surgery. For some unknown reason he quickly turned around, raised his hand and brought it down fast as a gesture of disapproval and dismissal and left. This, coming from a professional at a critical moment that has affected me deeply has kept me wondering what I had done to deserve this rudeness from my medical professional.

My last day of wearing glasses after I have been wearing over 10 years. I decided to do ReLEx SMILE. It doesn’t hurt at all! I did with IQ Laser Vision- Santa Clara. I highly recommend!

I have been a patient of Dr. Shah's here for a number of years now, and have been very pleased with all phases of my experience. I have rarely had to wait more than a few minutes in the main waiting room. A very pleasant physician's assistant takes you back to the exam room and gives you a basic eye exam (reading the letters, etc.), gives you drops, etc. Then you get to stay put in that same room for a short time while your eyes dilate. Dr. Shah then comes in to give you a more comprehensive exam based on your particular needs. Dr. Shah is very calm, upbeat, and easy to talk to. I generally have questions, and she always takes time to answer them. I feel like I am getting excellent care here. The only drawback is that it is difficult to get an appointment on short order with Dr. Shah, as she is usually booked up for weeks. I would highly recommend making your next appointment for an annual exam as you're leaving your current one!

Just went today with my wife for eye exam. Dr. Mar was very professional, personable and knowledgeable. Excellent experience. Staff very friendly; nice selection of eyewear. Would highly recommend.

Very disappointed in the lack of care and attention to detail with this establishment.Twice I have received poor customer service/delivery. First time-one lens was tinted when order arrived. Wasted 2 week waiting time. But I gave them another chance the following year. 2nd time-I was never contacted when order arrived. When I contacted Visionworks, Petey informed me my husband (who hasn't visited this location in a year!!!!) was contacted and HIS prescription was in 2 pairs of MY frames. Confused???? Yes, I am too!!! There were 2 male reps present. But the first one who attempted to help, passed me over to the other one named Petey because he was confused too and remained silent. Petey made a joke and said "Your husband can wear them if he doesn't mind wearing your frames" which I didn't find funny at all after waiting 2 weeks for glasses!!! He also joked about how he remembered me from the previous order that was incorrect. I then asked for my re-order to be expedited at which he replied, it will take another week or more! This is totally unacceptable. Petey never apologized for the inconvenience and even went further to blame the lab rather than the error he placed on the paperwork which clearly shows he input my husband's name in the system as opposed to mine! By the way, this unprofessional interaction took place in the front of another customer waiting for service. If you value your time and money, I would NOT recommend this location for your eyeglass needs.
