One of the most caring doctors i have ever met!!! Gives amazing attention to detail and is extremely knowledgeable.

Dr. Baker, Julie and Christine are amazing. The office is very welcoming and allows you to take your time in choosing frames. The array of frame selection is stylish and numerous compared to that of corporate eye centers. As someone who buys new frames annually this was the best experience I’ve had for an eye exam and frame selection.

Alejandra from desk, went above and beyond to give an excellent service, I own a business, I can testify she is outstanding, she is a leader and really know what customer service means. Congratulations for having people that really appreciate and service clients with extremely excellence.

I’ve been going to the doctors at Caplan Eye Clinic for over 40+ years and have always had top notch A+++ care. I am always able to get an appointment right away when it is needed ( like when I have developed corneal abrasions) or when I had a sudden pain in my eye. It is quite easy to pull up in their driveway and find a parking space in their large parking lot. Their Metairie location is quite convenient to Lakeside Shopping Mall, the post office and many grocery stores. Dr Dan and the other docs are all very personable, as well as the staff that get you ready and prepared to get examined. They are kind and explain all the tests and are patient with you. I also have been very impressed with their optical and contact lens department, getting both visual aids quickly when needed. There are many nice frames to choose from that it makes Caplan Eye Clinic a one stop shop.. first for an examination and next for corrective glasses if they are necessary. I am in need of cataract surgery and wouldn’t think twice about going to someone else to do the surgery. Many of my friends have already had the surgery performed and they are doing great! When you are in need of an eye doctor, Caplan Eye Clinic is the one that should come to mind. You will be in safe hands!

Went for the first time and everything was great. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The doctor was very thorough and quick. The two young ladies working in the glasses department were very helpful and kept bringing me glasses until I found a pair I liked. I got my prescription glasses and sunglasses for the amount I would usually pay for just a new pair of glasses. Waiting on my trial contacts, hopefully everything goes as smoothly there also.

I didnt like the idea of wearing glasses but with the help of Carlos and staff I was able to select really cool and beautiful stylish glasses, I love it. Thank you all! I will recommend you to all my friends and family, they deserve to be in good hands.

Horrible place to go. If you need glasses or an optometrist appointment go anywhere but here. Scheduled an appointment the end of August. Only available time was November 6th but managed to get them to bump it up to the first when i called in the end of October. Missed the appointment and am being charged a $10 fee. On top of not being able to reschedule til December. Being half blind doesn't help with an expired prescription. Do yourself a favor, don't ignore this review and go find a better optometrist. I wish zero stars was acceptable but 1 star will have to do! They called me back and I'm not going to schedule any further appointments there because my Google Maps reviews were "unfair" and was given excuses for their ridiculous scheduling. Save time and money, go to any other optometrist.
