Dr Raoof is exceptional! Her skill, bedside manner, explanation of my cataracts, the risks and benefits of surgery. All so amazing. Every single person in this office was great. The surgery was excellent. I was afraid but they put me at ease. Dr Raoof is a God send. I can't say enough about the entire staff. They truly set the bar.

Everybody there from the receptionist to the nurses to the doctors were totally awesome, I had dr.Eippert.,what a top notch dr. He is also very personal, he called me himself after both my surgeries and asked how I was doing. He did not have his assistant do it. Great place, highly recommended..thanks to everyone there.

TERRIBLE experience(s), POOR communication, Unprofessional front desk staff/assistants, and BAD system for getting patients taken care of - WILL NOT go back to this clinic!!!!! My first experience was not great due to a power/WiFi outage and I was unable to have my full tests run, but I liked the doctor when I was able to see her at my first visit. I had to reschedule my main test (due to the system being down) and came back today for that; however, after arriving 30+ minutes early to my appointment and then waiting a FULL HOUR past my appointment time I still had not been called back! I left VERY FRUSTRATED and STILL did not get my test run. The office staff did not apologize or make any effort to get me taken care of, the way I was treated was AWFUL and not acceptable. I hope the doctor gets better staff to take care of her patients, because she was great! But, I will not return - solely due to my experience from the front desk staff!!!

Chose this location because the reviews were good, and if I'm going to trust someone with my child's eyes I'm not going to go somewhere 3star or lower. Also chose this location because their site was clear and easy to maneuver. Overall, we had a great experience here, loved the young lady who did the initial first eye test, she was super great with my son and was genuinely nice you could tell. I also appreciated that even though my sons eyesight isn't perfect, she did not rush to put my son in glasses, thank you! We look forward to coming back and rechecking his eyes, thank you!

Dr. Dossey was very professional in all that he did. I have been an RN for 40 years, and have worked with many doctors, and I put him up there with the top of the list. He explained everything he did and answered all my questions.

Everything when very well, No problems, Going to have my left eye done in two weeks. I have had Cataract surgery four years ago everything went very well then he is an excellent doctor.

My son's eye exam experience was a mixed bag. The optometrist was excellent and did a good refracting job. The advertised price was $60 for eyeglass exam, $90 for contacts exam. Initially we went for eyeglass exam only, but were talked into doing contact exam for "extra $30 only". At checkout, the bill was $120 because of "astigmatism". There was a secret price list visible only to the checkout person, who claims this was their routine pricing policy. Astigmatism is common, and there is not an extra charge for eyeglass exam with astigmatism. Left a sour taste in mouth. So check on the price before proceeding.

We always have such a great experience at Des Moines Eye Care. The staff are helpful, friendly and accommodating and Dr. Donner always goes above and beyond with our care by explaining things.
