Great staff and the doctor was punctual, informative, and kind who really cares about your eye health. It's like night and day compared to my last eye doctor's practice, and I will now look forward to my annual eye exams. Definitely recommend this office!

Dr Pereira and staff make you feel very comfortable starting with just making an appointment. Very knowledgeable and a great selection of frames. They have gone above and beyond to make sure I have the right contacts and glasses!

Great price staff friendly and attentive to the customer. had the glasses for about a year and have lost two screws, walked in both times greeted by a staff member and was promptly seen and screws were replaced at no charge. Highly recommend the Schenectady store.

This was the best eye exam I have had in years! Dr. Giovannone, was beyond thorough. In addition to a dialation of my eyes, she asked many health questions. She took her time and I never felt rushed! I also received excellent help in choosing my new frames. I can't wait to get my new glasses!!!

I feel comfortable in recommending this location, especially Dr. Alexander Nehas. I found her to be very thorough in her exam,explanations and customer care. I was very confident in the quality of the exam she gave me and for the first time in a long time the prescription seem to be perfect when I put the glasses on unlike other places, I’ve had to return so many times to have prescriptions adjusted ,lenses made differently but these the moment I put them on, I could see clearly, and there was a marked difference in the quality over past locations I’ve been to . The office is clean and all the staff was very polite and professional and the service was quick. Phones are answered promptly. Unlike Vision works where I struggle to get a phone call returned or an appointment made. This review is for their Niskayuna only location. I had a terrible experience at the Colonie location where the glasses arrived scratched twice and were given to me in that condition. Luckily, I noticed the damage before I left their counter. I had to wait almost 2 months and several appointments before I got a pair that was not damaged so my positive review is for the Niskayuna location only which was professional, efficient and high-quality.

Yes, the waits can be long. I've been going to Dr. kennedy for a long time due to a specific retina condition I have. I don't mind waiting as long as when I'm seen, I'm not rushed so time is made up on my "dime". That is never the case with Dr. Kennedy. He is compassionate and listens thoroughly to all concerns. Please know he's nationally recognized as an expert in the field of retina disease; it's a blessing to have him in Schenectady. I've never had a problem getting an appointment scheduled for me or a family member when I've contacted his office staff. They've always been helpful.

I'll preface this review by stating that the Doctors and their service is good. I've been going there for several years and have no complaints with the Doctor care. The problem is with the OFFICE and the way it operates. Every visit takes a LONG TIME . A typical visit usually takes well over an hour. Theres usually a 30 minute wait after the scheduled time before being seen by the Doctor. The exam usually takes another 30 to 45 minutes due to the pupil dilation. Its by far the longest Doctor visit of the many that I have annually. My last experience was the worst and my final visit. I arrived 10 minutes early for my 10:00am appointment. I sat in the waiting room until 10:40am when I was called and ushered into an exam room. After a brief chart read conducted by a nurse I sat alone in the exam room for another 20 minutes. At 11:00am I decided to leave as I knew I would probably be there for another hour or so. When I left I stopped at the receptionists desk and told her that I had been waiting for an hour and I was leaving. Her response was "Okay" . There was no other discussion and no follow-up of any kind. I schedule all of my annual Doctor visits around the same time of year. Every one of them is on time, friendly, and efficient, as seems to be the norm these days. This office seems to not care about their patients time and has done nothing to improve over the years. I'll miss the Doctors care but its definitely time for me to move on.

Very poor management. I’ve been going for YEARS! Had an accident happen on the eye I had surgery on and was concerned about it, and they wouldn’t let me come in

What an incredible experience! From the greeting at the desk upon entry, to the knowledgeable optician Laura that assisted with our frame selections, outfitted our new selections with incredible precision, and made adjustments to our current glasses. There are wonderful fashionable, affordable choices of men's, women's and children's frame's and the turn around time is acceptable. Knowing this gem is in our backyard is tremendous! If you are in search of optometry services, this is the place to go hands down!

These folks are the best. My whole family goes here for all of our eye care. The whole team is very professional. Dr Le is excellent and answers all of our questions. Laura is our favorite eyeglass fitter and fashion consultant. The office staff are efficient and friendly.

I'm so glad I found this place! Everyone is helpful, knowledgeable, and willing to take time to make sure all concerns are addressed. Extra tips and tricks are shared. Everything runs smoothly and is easy to navigate. I bought two new pairs of glasses on a recent visit. One was a pair of prescription sunglasses and the other regular progressive lenses. Both have worked great, look great and I receive regular compliments on them!
