Dr Alvarez is fabulous, but their optician dept is lacking. I got new glasses last Friday and they need to be adjusted, i can't get an appt until APRIL 4. 17 days between pick up and the day i can get an appointment for an adjustment, no they did not check adjustment when i picked them up, plus it took 5 weeks to get them and even then they didn&t call me, i just happened to drop by to check as i was running errands. unacceptable. They need to change somethings for us Senior citizens that rely on glasses for sight

I was excited to get my 11 year old daughter new glasses. I spent alot of money with all the add ons they offer when the glasses came in the lens didn't fit the frame and 1 pair was too big. The receptionist was nice, but the quality for the price was ridiculous.

I just got Lasik with Dr. Kelly and the whole experience was perfect. Unlike other doctors who leave you sitting in waiting rooms forever and leave you feeling like you're just a dollar sign to them, this is a completely different experience. Everyone who works there is extremely friendly and helpful, they see you promptly, they explain everything super well. And the surgery itself ... I was very nervous but they put me right at ease through the entire process. I am hard to impress but I give them an enthusiastic five stars.

I am very fond of this quaint little optical shop. You wouldn't think that when you walk in, that you will be instantly surrounded by colorful, gorgeous and stylish women's eyeglass frames. And then you have the men's cool current and more toned down styles of the oval, wayfarer, rectangular, etc shaped eyeglass frames. And of course we can't forget the younger boys and girls that have been finally available in fun colors, shapes and designs. And then you have some of the old basic oldies and simple frames that are available in a more affordable price range. Speaking of which, all of their frames range in all different prices! And I especially like the fact that I have a unique insurance and was very lucky to find out that GNB Optical was a provider! Then to top it off, what makes shopping the most important, is the spectacular customer service experience! They are very professional and really care about finding the perfect frame that looks fabulous and fits you perfectly, and they also make sure that the frames can accommodate the prescription lenses that you have been prescribed. They are very good at making sure that they take the correct measurements so that you will be able to see properly and feel comfortable looking through the lenses. Finally, I don't usually write reviews unless something or some company etc. meets way beyond my average expectations, especially when they are spectacular and always treat me the same way. Then I feel like it's my duty to tell the public about why they shouldn't hesitate to make an appointment to see their very nice and thorough optician to update your prescription before you choose your new pair of glasses or also sunglasses as well. But if you already have an outside prescription, it's not a problem. My biggest goal is that as many possible future GNB Optical customers/patients will read this review and go to GNB Optical and get some new glasses!! Take a chance! You will never look back.... *No one gave me anything in exchange for this review. Everything I have said is truthful to the best of my ability.

The doc was really nice and professional. The rest of the staff was awesome and helped me pick out glasses that i really loved. The office is looking great. It is clean and bright. Thanks to the whole team.

The eye doctor was very thorough. She took her time and made sure she didn't give my daughter glasses if she didn't need them. I highly recommend this place!

Work with Leigh (hope I spelled that right) she was great. Patient, and very knowledgeable and helpful. New to wearing glasses so she helped pick out a style of glasses to compliment my face. They fit nicely and I have been getting compliments on the frames, so thanks Leigh.

(I invested great amount of time writing this experience in hoping to help other patients - DO NOT trust a what appears to be a excellent google reviewed place such as ABITA EYE GROUP. It's clearly untrustworthy ) I recently visited this Office, and regrettably, my experience was far from satisfactory. From the beginning, the office exhibited a lack of professionalism, disregard for patient privacy, and a notable inconvenience that overshadowed any potential positive aspects of the visit. To compound the frustration, a few days before my scheduled appointment, the office unilaterally changed the appointment time without seeking confirmation. This lack of communication added to the inconvenience of the overall experience, considering the valuable time I had taken off from work specifically for this visit. Upon arrival, the chaotic and unwelcoming environment became apparent, with no separation between different functional areas. The waiting area was inexplicably placed in the middle of the room, blending with the eye wear sales corner area and other unknown functions. The absence of a designated greeting area further contributed to an unprofessional atmosphere, as did the random items scattered around. Upon check-in, the lady at the front desk, who appeared to be responsible for the process, requested my health insurance information in addition to my previously provided vision insurance. When I questioned the need for my health insurance, she hesitated and provided a dubious explanation about potential communication with my primary doctor – a practice unheard of in a vision care setting. Despite expressing my confusion and concerns, I was sent off to wait. Unfortunately, my wait extended to 42 minutes beyond the rescheduled appointment time. To my dismay, the same "front-desk" lady walked into the waiting area and shockingly read my social security number aloud for all to hear, she asked me to confirm in front of everyone. I was shocked and left speechless... This blatant disregard for privacy left me feeling upset, confused, and questioning the competence of the staff. Following this concerning breach of privacy, I requested the cancellation of my appointment and asked for the office manager's contact information. It is disheartening to think that such a failed business setup, untrained staff, and lack of communication could overshadow any potential positive experiences with skilled providers in the practice. While I want to believe there are competent professionals within the practice, the overall experience was marred by a lack of professionalism, organization, and respect for patient privacy. I sincerely hope this review serves as constructive feedback for this office to improve its communication practices and ensure a more welcoming, organized, and secure environment for future patients, who, like myself, have invested valuable time for their appointments.
