Staff are extremely friendly and have a great sense of humor. Extremely knowledgeable Doctors who take the time to explain the procedures and answer questions without the usual hem-haw that many doctors use. GO IU

I had been going to this office for a few years and was fine with them. They weren't particularly timely and were more expensive than they should have been, but they were friendly. The lady that helps pick out frames and checks you out is amazing, and the tech is a nice guy who remembers the patients. However, this last year has been fraught with problems: prescriptions being so wrong they cause nausea and dizziness; ordering different brands of contacts rather than re-measuring that new perscription after telling the office about these issues; not being notified when these trial contacts arrived; being told to deal with less than perfect vision because of a complex eye issue and the aforementioned contacts not working. I'll be choosing a different optometrist who provides better patient care and customer service for my next eye appointment. This office would be fine if you have naturally good vision or don't have any complex/complicated/out-of-the-ordinary eye issues.

Didn't file insurance properly delayed my order. The service counter lady was very rude. No one seemed to know how to read the insurance papers. Had to pay whole bill and than submit to insurance company whom immediately covered. Also wouldn't release my prescription. A phone call could have saved me a lot of time instead of just rude service.

I just got off the phone with these people are unprofessional at best. First they told me my newly inquired eye insurance didn't cover their business. I called my insurance and it certainly does. Then I called back, the girl got very nasty … More

Dr. Sarafzadeh is not only professional but extremely kind. She cares about your concerns and addressed all my vision issues. If you are looking for a top notch surgeon that takes her time and is meticulous with her work, she is the doctor you want. Not to mention, there was zero wait time and the office is brand new with the newest equipment. Overall I was thoroughly impressed!! Thanks Dr. Sarafzadeh!!

I have been going to Dr. Johnson for many years and he ALWAYS delivers the very best eye care...professional, polite, personable, and knowledgeable. I have only the highest regard for him and hope for many more years under his care.

Dr Patel is the only optometrist you need to go to. Period. Dr Patel and his staff are the most qualified, educated and fabulous people. Don't trust your eyes to anyone else. Seriously! I went to him based on others' reviews as a last ditch effort in hopes he could help me see well since my prescription had gotten to a -18 and with brand new contacts I was still not seeing even close to 20/20. I've had poor vision my whole life and always feared going blind. I thought it was finally happening and was desperate that maybe he could help. After only a couple of minutes with him and his team they found what multiple eye doctors had missed for years (including one that evaluated my eyes ONE month earlier). I had advanced cataracts. This is extremely rare for someone my age (35) but it still shouldn't have been missed. I went years with terrible vision and it negatively impacted m life purely because of others' incompetency. After a couple of procedures I am now seeing 20/15 and couldn't be happier as I never thought I'd see this well. If you want to know you're getting the best care possible - look no further. I'll never trust another doctor with my eyes. You'll also be amazed with the incredible people on his staff. They are the kindest and most thoughtful people.

This Kaiser location is the closest to my home and it provides a lot of lounge space, with windows!, and a coffee/snack bar. Also in the lounges (ground floor & 2nd floor) I saw people snacking, quietly talking, reading mobile devices, "studying" at desk-like tables, and just sitting for a while. This type space is a luxury for a medical clinic (actually, multiple clinics in the building). I lounged between two appointments without having to leave the building. I could have brought my lunch, if I'd known.

Super easy to schedule online. Dr. Jake answered all of my questions and was super patient when I learned how to put in my contacts and gave me plenty of take homes to have sufficient time to make a decision on the contacts. The staff were very pleasant and easy to work with, and they had excellent knowledge regarding my insurance and co-pays. My contacts came in under a week after I ordered and their hours made it super easy for me to pop by and grab them. I have been to the MyEyeDr in the Loop, and this location is MILES above that location. Highly recommend!

You people are ridiculous! I waited almost 2 months for this appointment for my child, and you called an hour and 15 minutes before to try to reschedule if I couldn’t arrive earlier than my scheduled time??! Then try to come back and say you are closing early and unfortunately have to cancel all appointments. Y’all are trash! Wasting people's time. Don’t book here unless you want a last-minute cancellation or a 2-month waiting period for an appointment that may never happen.

Staff is caring and makes you feel at ease from the moment you walk in the door. They talk with you over every concern during the exam and also help you find the glasses that are right for you if that's what you need. My son had a new pair of glasses come in, but after a major surgery and I couldn't get up there to get them. A worker offered to bring them to my home out of the kindness of her heart! Choose them first, you won't be disappointed.
