Considering I had a vitrectomy with a membrane peel I have to say it’s been a pleasure. Dr Smith is personable and a pleasure to deal with. Listens to you and responds until you understand. He also tries to accommodate your needs as much as possible. Lastly, the staff is great to deal with as well. I highly recommend him.

The doctor was rude to me and the entire experience felt more like a car dealership/ upsell rather then an eye doctors office. Suggesting unnecessary and expensive procedures, even when told no. I finished my appointment here and left to go to LensCrafters for my frames and had a much better experience with their team.

The man is too old, too crass and too ignorant to be practicing medicine. From the inept staff all that was experienced was rudeness. The way he treated my mother is inexcusable, so much in fact, I had to leave the examination room to keep from causing my mother further embarrassment. I don’t leave bad reviews as you can see by other reviews I have given. His office is archaic, small and dirty. Bedside manner is incorrigible in my opinion. It has taken me two years to write this review due to the fact I wanted to hear from some of my parents friends that had gone to him as their ophthalmologist. Some issues were verified some didn’t share my viewpoint. This was our experience. I hope others never experience what we did. I would not recommend him as a doctor.

Dr. Prasad is awesome! I've been his patient for 10 + years. Best optometrist in Long Beach. I highly recommend.

It was an informative and enjoyable experience. The doctor gave me insight on how my exam was conducted and my vision was improved through my contacts and eyeglasses. I Thank her so very much for taking the time to explain things to me. I greatly appreciate her gracious spirit and kindness towards me. She's an amazing doctor. Dr. Martindale is great! He has a wonderful personality and is good with my sons who now see him too. He follows up and I can tell he cares.

Everyone is so helpful, friendly and professional. I made an appointment with Dr Russell for a second opinion for my prism prescription & WOW! So glad I did! Thank you Julie for suggesting him. It’s been a while since I could do close up work this comfortably. The new prescription has already made a huge difference. I would also like to thank Emily and Muhammad for all their help and their sense of humor. It makes all the difference in the world when staff show sensitivity, humor, professionalism and caring.
