Dr. Barrera is the best doctor ive had in several years since Dr. Alencherry left. He was nice, he listened, answered my questions. I didn't feel rushed. I highly recommend. To be honest some of the staff could use a little training in how to be nice and respectful to the patients, but that wont stop me from seeing Dr. Barrera. Thank you for being a great doctor!

Crooked practice and would avoid at all costs!

I had an amazing experience at the S Lewis Ave location. Angie was so lovely and helped me with the preliminary tests/pics. Dr. Maa Ahema Parry was extremely patient and kind and reviewed the results and best practices with me. Lastly, I was helped by Melissa (who has gorgeous glasses!), who helped me find the perfect pair with the ideal customizations for my lifestyle (anti-glare, transition lenses, etc.). As someone who always dreads going to the doctor, I couldn't have asked for a better experience from reception to glasses pick-up weeks later! Highly recommend! :)

Dr. Masson and the staff have been outstanding for each and every visit! My laser procedure went well! I return April 7th to have my left eye done. I'm not apprehensive about it at all!

Waiting times are too long. I was not called back until an hour after my appointment time. I spent the waiting time looking for a new doctor. This is a pattern. It happens with every appointment. They are obviously overbooking and do not care about their patients’ time. Nothing is done to improve the situation. They just keep doing the same thing—every time! The doctor enters the room every time, making an empty apology for the wait. If the apology was sincere, they would make steps to improve their procedures and improve wait times. But nothing changes and I am finished with this group. I will get care elsewhere.

This experience was amazing. I went in not knowing what to expect but Dr. Masi was very welcoming and explained everything so nicely. I had a clear understanding throughout my entire visit and made it comfortable to ask questions. When purchasing my lens, everyone was very helpful and patient when assistance me. I will definitely be going back!

Took me in as a walk-in for my son. Super nice staff. Worked around my schedule fantastically. A little bit of miscommunication, but 100% better then most places. I will recommend 10 out of 10. You guys are amazing! He's a happy little camper today.

The staff were professional and thorough in their examination of my son. We did not have a long wait time before being seen. Highly recommend this office if you need an eye care specialist for children or adults.

I just got a new prescription from my ophthalmologist but didn't care for any of the frames they had there so I started looking around. I had never heard of Vision Care Optique before doing a Google search, but decided to drop by to see what they had. They invited me inside and let me browse around and it didn't take too long to find exactly what I wanted -- I ordered a whole new set of glasses right on the spot. They came in a couple of weeks later. I went in to pick them up and they needed adjusting (plastic frames) for a perfect fit; no problem, they did it all in the span of 5 minutes. The lenses are very clear, very sharp, and the frames are excellent quality. They are my go-to for glasses from now on.
